Really rare. Like twice as rare as a standard NES... even more so.

*sigh* I was at a flea market today and I saw a toploader. It was $65. I would of bought it if I had that money. I bought Super Metroid and Mike Tyson's punch out instead.

Well, you've all reminded me of something. There's a street in Broadway (suburb in Sydney, Australia) with a lot of odd little op-shops and bohemian-type stores... you know, weird stuff. It's off the main thoroughfare where the main Apple Centre is on the corner (why I am bothering to explain this to a bunch of people who are NOT from Sydney, I don't know... ). Anyways, I recall getting out of my car once to see what appeared to be images of a SNES and a NES and I think some games and maybe a Sega system of some sort. They may have been boxes actually. This was over a year ago, mind you, and I don't know if it is still there, but it may have been a store stocking old collectible-condition Nintendo stuffs! I'll have to investigate to find out more... ;D

The recently opened branches of Gamestation in the UK have a burgeoning retro scene. Boxed and unboxed consoles dating back decades.

While I was in Germany once, I was in this toy shop, and they had a brand new Super GameBoy (you know, the SNES peripheral)! I don't think they had it there because they sold retro stuff, but more like they didn't know how outdated it was

Yeah, there's loads of them now. They've been cropping up all over the place (ironically, they've been cropping up in towns I USED to live in... never actually the town I AM living in). But the south of England is a bit large. Care to be more specific? Or better still... check out their official store list: www.gamestation.co.uk/store_locator/
