During Neighbours I flick over the Fox8 and watch Futurama - I really like Futurama. If only there was a straight run of the Simpsons, Futurama, and the Family Guy... I don't have foxtel in my room, unfortunately, so I can't do that. Also, thanks to Foxtel Sattelite being 30mins ahead, you can watch: 5:00 - Family Guy / King of the Hill (I only have the basic Foxtel package, unfortunately, so its KOTH for me) 5:30 - Simpsons (Fox 8) 6:00 - Futurama (F8) / Simpsons (10) 6:30 - Simpsons (F8) 7:00 - Simpsons (10) So you can have 4 Simpsons in a row if you want. Not to mention Tuesday when it becomes 6 in a row. Infact, this Tuesday I am likely to watch 3 KOTHs and 5 Simpsons (wont get to see the 6:30 Simpsons). Not bad. ...Wait, what were we talking about again?

Ahh, good ol' Eastenders. Apart from the plot, murders and everything, it's a damn sight more reliable a gauge of British life (albeit one on fast forward) than most British soaps. For a start it's filled with ugly people with big gobs. Just like England! More Simpsons fun: Aussie: "You call that a knife? This is a knife!" Bart: "That's not a knife. That's a spoon!" Aussie: "Ah, I see you've played knifey-spoony before!" Separate quote, also from Simpsons: Hans Moleman: "You call that a knife? This is a knife! Whoop, down I go!"

Yeah, the "knifey-spoony" joke is a good one - I'll give the Simpsons that one! ;D And DIU, I don't have Foxtel, I have Optus (and not in my room either, just the family screen). Saturday morning is the best - Simpsons from early till midday! ;D Not a fan of KOTH - it's OK, but not my thing. Stewie in Family Guy though... man he's funny. "Ugly people with big gobs"? While there were some of those over in the UK when I was there lasy year, they were generally not bad - there were some lookers (I refer specifically to the waitress who served us at the cafe we had breakfast at every morning). Bloody-oath mate. A wallabee just went by and nearly knocked all me shrimp of me barbie! Too right! When I get that old cojer, I'm gonna beat 'im black 'n' blue. Coo-ee! (Hmmm... )

And DIU, I don't have Foxtel, I have Optus (and not in my room either, just the family screen). At that point my mother would be watching, ironically, Eastenders (or whatever other show is on UK TV at that time). Wait... thats not ironic. Or interesting.

Ironic it might be... (Anyone up for analysing irony? No, didn't think so...) And, yes, that is when Eastenders is on - same time as Neighbours... freaky! Was there a topic to this thread? ;D

Are you sure that's Australian? Neighbours is on much earlier than Eastenders over here. Neighbours at 2.30 and repeated at 5.25, and Eastenders on at 8.30 (except on weekends, when the Omnibus seems to run all bloody Sunday afternoon).

Buses run all the time here and it doesn't affect what TV programs are shown. And, yes, that is when Eastenders is on - same time as Neighbours... freaky! Yeah, in your time zone, that is. Unless it goes for an hour, which I think it does. I'm confused.

My timezone? Are you in South Australia? (That might explain why you were interested in that console machine seller being in Adelaide...)
It does go for an hour, but the first half is during Neighbours over here in good old Sydney.
Anyways. I managed to stay off topic yet again. "Forgiveness please!" (Simpons quote - the Yakuza guy who flies through the Simpsons' kitchen window in the pretzel episode...)

"Forgiveness please!" (Simpons quote - the Yakuza guy who flies through the Simpsons' kitchen window in the pretzel episode...) And yes, I'm South Australian. I thought you would have worked that out already. Whatever. BTW, the "pretzel episode" is "The Twisted World of Marge Simpson" (4F08). I don't know why I pointed that out, but I did.

I had to double check the title (wasn't entirely sure) and get the P-Code from the Complete Guide (which is not complete, but thats another story). But I'm a Simpson nerd.
And there is a F-Zero AX machine in SA, making this state an infinte number of times better than yours. Unless there is one there too.
