Prince Sablé (Kaeru no Tame ni Kane wa Naru) The Cheer Squad (Osu! Tatakae! Ouendan)
I was under the impression that the Prince had no name. FryGuy?
And I believe the members of the Cheer Squads are:
Easy Mode - Tanaka Hajime (leader), Saitou, Suzuki Normal Mode - Ryuta (leader), Saitou, Suzuki Hard Mode - Kai (leader), Saitou, Suzuki Very Hard Mode - Amemiya Sayaka (leader), Kanda Aoi, Anna Lindhurst
Did a little bit of research, and I'm sorry to say that Prince Sable is not his name. It is a mis-translation.
He is Prince OF Sable. Sable is a kingdom. Still... Prince of Sable is a better name than just "Prince".
As for Fight Night Round 2 - I am fully aware of that fact, and I stand firmly by the fact that EA got it wrong as well. After all, it wouldn't be the first time EA has completely messed up the facts behind a franchise. Don't get me started on what's wrong with the James Bond games...

What if the prince was named after the place he lives, or what if the place he lives in was named after him? And what about his first default name? Ask Tomato at Starmen.Net, he might know.
For Little Mac, this example is non-Nintendo related, but it recently happened:
I believe Nintendo put the blonde-haired boxer in Fight Night Round 2, because they are sticking with the makeover of Little Mac from now on, and I'm sure they will put him in SSBR.And I doubt it was EA's responsibility for calling the blonde, Little Mac.
Nester the Lark: Hello, NinDB world! Post your shouts here! (But be careful not to wake the neighbors. )

nocturnal YL: Guys, guys! I can't believe what I found in Zelda 1! The game features an Elimination Mode that for some reason not many talked about! I wonder if it's fun? (Don't actually try it.)

nocturnal YL: Hey, I can edit shoutbox posts! This is already better than Twitter!

Nester the Lark: It seems like Cadence of Hyrule should be more popular than it is. Are people put off by the rhythm aspect? Or the randomly-generated maps?

nocturnal YL: ↑ Might warrant its own thread, but I think mixing rhythm and other genres usually resuls in gameplay too difficult for many. I can't handle it well either, judging from my scores in Dedede's Drum Dash.

nocturnal YL: ↑ For me personally, it simply hasn't been considered. It's a download-only game (until now) from a series I'm unfamiliar with and didn't feel like trying out.

Nester the Lark: Ironically, I did create a thread for Cadence of Hyrule, but then deleted it thinking there wouldn't be any discussion on it. Maybe I'll go ahead and make a new one.

Shrikeswind: Something to bear in mind about the shoutbox if you’re not already aware: It doesn’t show up on the mobile version of the forums. This shouldn’t be a major problem, but it can make it difficult to get into discussions for mobile visitors.

Shrikeswind: Also the more obvious character limit issues, and the format not really being conducive to longer-term discussion. It’s useful but limited; threads definitely still have their place.

Shrikeswind: (Honestly, Proboards mobile is pretty bad in general, but...)

Nester the Lark: Not sure if this works on all devices, but you can force the desktop version of the forum by scrolling all the way to the bottom and clicking the "Desktop" link at the lower right.

Shrikeswind: I’m aware. I’m typing this from my phone. I’m just pointing out that, for people who aren’t aware or who may be casually checking in on their phone, the shoutbox won’t be visible on

Shrikeswind: Is there a Discord for NinDB, by the way? It’s very popular with them there young’ns these days, so it might help activity.
Jul 26, 2020 22:07:47 GMT -5
Nester the Lark: There is no NinDB Discord. There was a brief discussion of it a few years ago, but nothing ultimately came of it. I rarely use Discord, myself.

Shrikeswind: Hm. Seems like it might be a good idea if activity picks up. Not to be a pessimist but I do have my doubts that'll happen though.

Shrikeswind: Okay not a Nintendo topic but I kinda need to talk about this because I just learned it and it's a thing so bleh.

Shrikeswind: You remember Disney's Hunchback of Notre Dame, right? So apparently, 5 year old me was incapable of discerning male and female in non-humans, because *apparently* there's a female gargoyle, and the goat's a boy.
