Comments:
(1) A Link into Space
First off, I personally think "A Link to the Space" would make a better title if you want to have a reference to the SFC / Super Nintendo game. The animation is, otherwise, great and (almost, if any) flawless.
(2) Mario vs Link Ch 1
Well, this one also works fine (both in story (Funnies? Jokes?) and animation), and looking at the nature of your animation, I'd suggest you to keep the file as GIF animation. That would mean no interaction and BG music, but for pixel animation with not much colour, leaving it alone is somehow better than using other formats such as Flash and to worry about the "what you see is NOT what you get" thing.

Yeah thanks for the comments. I didnt realise at first that you couldn't put music or sound in GIF animations, ah well. As I said before I am trying to make this one longer and the funniest yet, I enjoy working with the sprites this way. I'll probable post chapter 2 either tommorow or tuesday depending on development progression...

Yay! Great story to it. With added blood! The only thing bad about the new chapter is the speed: it suffered from a lot of slowdown, but maybe thats just my computer. Anyway, keep up the goods.

Yes as Nas already pointed out, Nintanimation 03 is up and ready to watch! Its about 3 and a half minutes long so enjoy the new storyline and better scenes.
Did you like my reference to the new Smash Bros Brawl and of course, NinDB - i just had to put somthing in. Ok, so whats next for the nintanimation series? Well Im starting work on chapter 3 but this time I got it planned out, but throw any suggestions whenever you like!
So far im thinking of making the Maz VS Link animations a trilogy so Chapter 3 will be the last. Any questions just throw them at me! See ya guys.
PS: Nas, I've stolen your copy of LOZ: Ocarina of Time - thanks! Mwhahahahahahaha!

Vaati is so badass I really need tMC.
What I want to know is what's happened to Minish Link. Oh and the dialogue boxes with faces are better than speech bubbles so stick with that.

Mario and Luigi can talk, but Minish Link can't.
They actually talk quite abit (just don't have conversations, because Mario doesn't have much of a story, it's not needed):
"Im a supasta!"
"Mamma-mia"
"D'oh!"
"w-w-w-w-w-w" (remember Mario 64DS Luigi?)
"I'm da wiener!"
"Oh well, next-a time"
"It's-a me-a, Mario!"
"Yahoo!"
And that's all I can think of off the top of my head. It's because Mario is one dimensional and has no story, not because he doesn't talk.
And I just remember, Link actually does talk. You just get to select what he says. And that's because Miyamoto wants to keep it as the "Link" between the player and the game.

Those are all good points Saimdusan. Nas can be very critical at times, I mostly ignore him and steal his games, like the good friend that I am.
Yes, I know that Mario, Luigi and Link don't talk very much but i decided to break the boundaries because in an animation like this, the story doesn't come over quite so easily if you just put exclaimation marks on. So thats that sorted.
Well you kinda gave me another idea there actually...
After much consideration I've stopped work on chapter 3 and decided to start work on a chapter 0 which will be a prequel to the original "Link into space". This will explain how everything came about and why whats happened has happened.
Should I do this animation in black and white? Might give a nice touch dontcha think?
I will continue with chapter 3 after the prequel chapter so id better get cracking. See you later guys!

Alright, youv got me to do it in Sepia Tone! Although its not supposed to look particularly old (more like a flashback really).
Hey, im really getting into this nintanimation business! Also, let me know who you would like to see in the prequel and chapter 3 because i can always throw them in for your enjoyment. Heck, throw in a storyline if you want!

Oh and also, in Chapter 4 (or 3 I forget what we're up to), you should have Minish Link go to the tWW and OOT worlds.

Okay guys as you well know the series "Maz VS Link" has since become somthing more of a simple Mario VS Link episode as it once was meant to be. Since im terrible of thinking up names I would appreciate name suggestions from you guys. Quite simply I need name suggestions so I can rename the whole series from "Maz VS Link" to something else, so please throw stuff at me (not literally i bruise easily  ) Thanks |
