Fryguy, this is a very good splash image. I like how you put some of the heroes in like Link, Samus, etc

I wasn't really requesting ( ;D ) - I was just stating the most obvious characters in my mind that would go with the arcade medley that Fryguy seemed to hint at...
But a Mario power-up medley would look pretty cool...
;D
and I guess no arcade medley would be complete without the barrel-throwing DK.
Speaking of DK, that episode of Futurama was just on Fox 8 (Australian cable channel) where everything is like video games - cameos by Mario, DK, Space Invaders, Pac Man, Miss Pac Man, those old vector graphics games, and "All you base are belong to us"... very funny stuff.

NERD TIME: Thats Anthology of Interest II, "Raiders of the lost Arcade", from Season 3. Don't know the P-Code, so I guess nerd time is over.

Excellent episode. Not just that segment, but "I, Meatbag" is great too ("I bet I can eat Nachos and go to the bathroom at the same time!")

You somehow have this advanced ability to cite both Simpsons and Futurama episodes...  And, of course, the fact that Mario was coloured correctly was an added bonus in that episode - so often is he coloured in the inverse to what we have now... it's no big deal, but... whatever... |

I have no life. I have seen all Simpsons episodes multiple times and own all the Futurama box sets (so I have no seen them all multiple times). Working on my Seinfeld nerd-ism next... I picked up the Season 4 gift set last friday. Man I haven't seen Seinfeld for a while, not since Ten pulled it from 7pm (though they do show it at 12:30, which is good when I'm on holidays)

Well, I'm not specifically taking image requests, but seeing as these are hero medleys it's kinda unlikely that an arcade version would include DK.
But it would include: Mario, Luigi, DK Junior, Sheriff, Sky Skipper, Punch-Out!! boxer, Stanley, and... I guess the Arm Wrestling guy. Not many... it's a problem when most of the heroes are space ships.
