Eggerland/Adventures of Lolo enemies - Definitely Yes! I've been meaning to go into more detail about these since getting the game on the Wii-VC ;D Fire Flower - Possibly Yes! It definitely looks convincing enough. Charge Ponkotsu Tank - Hmm... this looks more like a recycled graphic than a cameo. This happens quite often, especially in old games, and is the visual equivalent of reusing sound effects. Revenge of the Gator - I had this game years back. They're very similar, and both HAL games. I'm not sure if this is so much a cameo though, rather than two very similar games. Super Picross - Hmm... no, I am not convinced of this one. Alcahest - That's just a blob. It's not even the same colour, so I'm afraid this one's not a cameo. If it was fired out of a giant metal lobster, then I'd change my tune

The tank on the cover definately looks the same as the one from Kirby Super Star, though. It just has some orange on it, rather than being all white.

Oh my goodness, TrusttheFungus has 666 posts! OH NOES.
Anyway, back on topic. HAL's game HyperZone Shares the name with the last level of Kirby's DreamLand 3. Also, one of the stages is Ripple Field, another stage in KDL3.

FryGuy64, "Revenge of the Gator" doesn't sound right, because the Japanese name has "66" in it. "Charge Ponkotsu Tank" is correct. However, you forgot to put an exclamation point ( !) right after "Charge", which would look like this -> "Charge! Ponkotsu Tank". Oh my goodness, TrusttheFungus has 666 posts! OH NOES. That even reminds me of Ripple Star, the second to last world in Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards.

Yours is the Japanese name, mine is the European name. They're the same game. Trust me... I've had Revenge of the Gator for YEARS. How many crocodile-themed pinball games on the Game Boy do you think there are? Oh, and on another note...

The Meta Lance enemy (I think that's the name) looks a lot like that tank as well.
And Blocky and Skully have been in the Kirby games since the beginning, alongside Lolo and Lala. I read somewhere that Sakurai even wanted to include them in the latter Kirby games, like Canvas Curse and 64, but thought better against it. He says on the old Brawl site (w/ the Toukoken) that he was afraid people would be upset at him for using his own characters too much (hence why Meta Knight and Dedede had to wait until Brawl to appear in a Smash game)

Wait a minute! That wasn't Alcahest. That was this game: That blob isn't an ordinary blob that you see in several games. If Kirby swallows it, Kirby will become Paint Kirby. Remember? I got all of this info from this Japanese web page. You can translate it, if you want.

Haha, they're using my Pokemon Stadium 2 screenshots ;D That's my old Silver username "MKsilvr" (I also had MKgold - hehe) But just because it's a Japanese website doesn't mean it's 100% accurate. They speculate and overanalyse, just like everyone here, myself included. Even looking at that website and translating it (sorry, I jumped to an assumption - though there is a Kirby cameo in Alcahest as well that this site doesn't cover - see Kirby's Rainbow Resort!) I still don't see how there's a relationship between these two featureless blobs. The website mentions Kirby getting a paint ability from it, but doesn't say how that ties in to Card Master. It gives the names of the Card Master enemies, but states the one in Kirby doesn't have a name. And no, the names do not mean "paint" or anything, before you suggest. Still, nifty website. Wish there were more like that out there for the other franchises.

I know it didn't say anything about "paint", but it said something else. I thought it said that both blobs have names. Also, it said something about "animation" or something.

It said the blobs in Card Master have two names (presumably two different shades, as RPGs have a habit of doing), while the one in Kirby has no name.
It also says the "unique" animations are similar. I don't recall the paint blob in KSS having a unique animation - I recall it having a very standard blob-like animation.
On another note... do you know of anywhere you can find enemies from the Eggerland/Lolo games? I want to do a game-by-game check ;D
