In fact, I'm utterly horrified that Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island didn't even make your list! THAT is the best Nintendo game ever... no, scratch that... the best GAME ever! Thank you, thank you, thank you. I agree wholeheartedly. I don't agree with the so-called "official list" though. Even if its not in order. Also, I quite like DKC2 - in my opinion, its DKC3 that lets the Country series down.

You see, I loved DKC3. It was fresh and felt more polished to me. Actually, if you include the Land and 64 DKC games, DKC is probably far from my favourite series. I loved DKC1 and DKC3, DKC2 was good in places, but ultimately frustrating and disappointing... all of the DKL games were pretty poor, and DK64 was far too repetitive. Then there's the GBC/GBA remakes which also leave a lot to be desired.
Something went wrong somewhere there.

DK64 was far too repetitive.. Not to mention being one big collect-athon of a game. I am going for DKC2 due to the expanded roles the animal buddies played in the game (although the departure of Expresso and Winky initially upset me a little).

Like Fryguy said, this list is very limited.
I consider anumber of Zelda games to be a number of the best Nintendo games ever, and none of them are on the list...

Ok, maybe I would, but I wasn't talking about them in that case. With the rest the series is infact quite weak. I personally didn't like DKC3 because I always thought Kiddy was lame, even back when I was about 6 years old when I first played it. It should have been DK and Dixie team up to save Diddy. There, same moveset, but a better character. But I haven't played it recently enough to remember, I just remember liking DKC2 much more.

No way. Squitter is the best animal buddy.

Yeah, this would've been better as just a thread about discussing what you think is Nintendo's best game, instead of voting for it... But then again, it seems like it already changed into that
