According to GoNintendo, Konami and Tokyopop have requested that certain info (including the mention of Wii and DS games) from the Castlevania comic ad be removed because "the information was not meant to be released to the general public." Hmm...

Konami's in a "non-disclosure" mood lately.

IGN has a new hands-on preview that's very encouraging. Perhaps the best feeling so far with Order of Ecclesia -- aside from that fact that the game feels like a direct offspring of Portrait of Ruin, and plays beautifully -- is the vibe we got while walking into the new level, only to find we were met by completely unfamiliar company. New enemies attacked from both sides, some of which were newly created versions of zombies and ghosts, but the majority completely new fiends with new attack patterns and behaviors. Between the glyph system's reliance on magic, the "out of the castle" feel of the game, and the all new enemies, this is the first time since Symphony of the Night that a free-roaming version of the game hasn't felt like a direct clone of Symphony of the Night. Finally, something fresh, yet still true to the series. They also have a bunch of short gameplay videos, as well as the opening cinematic. It all looks great!

IGN posted a new preview, which includes a video interview with IGA, and new gameplay videos played by IGA. IGA says that Order of Ecclesia is about 50% larger than Portrait of Ruin (which, itself, was supposed to be 50% larger than Dawn of Sorrow). He also speculates on the possibility of a fourth Castlevania on the DS. The graphics look great! Especially the area with the pirate ship in the background (which reminded me of Super Ghouls 'N Ghosts).

EGM already has a review for this game.

So do various other media sites. Simply telling us that EGM has reviewed it isn't very interesting or informative. You could have at least added what they said about it, or your own comments, or at the very least, something humorous. Try to have a point to your posts so they don't come off as spam. You don't want to make the Fry angry.

Especially since Fry has no penis right now. Anyway, I've put in a few hours into the game thus far, and I must say that I am having a ton of fun with it, moreso than Portrait of Ruin (which is impressive, since I like PoR quite a bit). Shanoa controls as well as any CV character has thus far, and the major shift to using all magical attacks is right up my alley. The Glyph system is very cool, reminding me of Harmony of Dissonance's book system (but much better implimented). The game's graphics are easily some of the best 2D IGA and his crew have put out since SotN, and the many varied environments are a refreshing breath of fresh air. The game's overworld isn't connected like previous Castlevanias; a map splits off each section into smaller parts, which is kind of nice this go-around (CV's haven't managed to pull off Metroid's backtracking as well, in my eyes). And the enemies and bosses are very diverse, with a lot more new faces or new designs than before. The bosses in particular have been a lot of fun to battle. The music is great thus far, too. Lastly, the game's difficulty has spiked considerably, which is making this more than a mere cakewalk, and so far, I think that it's fair. I have died more than usual, but I figure that I need to be more methodic in my combat (the magic system in particular is point this out to me, since it drains each time you attack), which I am personally getting a lot of joy from. All and all, I think this could be the CV that dethrones Aria as my favorite in the series...if it continues to build like it has. I don't even have much to nit-pick about!
