Nintendo games are fun, but how about some of the many 3rd party games? Some of them stink, but some are fun. Like, I just enjoy playing my latest 3rd party GBA games...Harvest Moon: Friends of Mineral Town and The Sims: Bustin' Out. What's your favorite 3rd party game?

I've only played very limited number of SFC 3rd party games.
Here they go:
SNES: Gokujou Parodius, Super Bomerman 3 & 5, and let's see... should have more.... forgot 'em already.
For All other consoles, Nintendo published titles take up at least 95% of them.

I got three words for ya:
BEETLE ADVENTURE RACING!!!
I LOVE THAT GAME!!! MY LIFE IS NOT COMPLETE WITHOUT THAT GAME!!! Okay, not really...but, it is one of the best games ever made. Electronic Arts and Paradigm did an outstanding job on that game. If it wasn't for that game, I wouldn't have a N64. If you haven't try it, you don't know what you're missing! I hope it's available for the Revolution!

My favorite 3rd Party game is Mario Party 3. lol j/k Haha, good one One of my favourite third party games is Beyond Good & Evil for GameCube (and PS2 and X-Box)... it was a bit short, but still really good. I like Magical Quest starring Mickey Mouse for SNES alot too.. Especially in cooperative 2-player mode ;D Oh wait, Harvest Moon goes on my list as well. Both the ones for SNES and GameCube (haven't played the latter for quite a while though).

Hmm... tough question. I'm going to have to go for the "by system" approach too, I expect:
NES: Bubble Bobble, Gun Smoke, Mega Man SNES: Earthworm Jim, UN Squadron N64: Conker's Bad Fur Day, Snowboard Kids GC: Sonic Mega Collection ;D
My experience of non-first party games on the various handheld systems is not good. I guess I got a bit addicted to Boxxle, but that's about it.
As for non-Nintendo system games: Any point and click adventures by Lucasarts ;D

Should it be in a Nintendo System?? because I love Monkey Island series, thats the only game in a no Nintendo plataform than I actually like (even though I don´t like No 4) But lets remember, I have found memories of:
NES: TMNT 3 Snes: MegamanX N64: Bomberman 64 or Harvest Moon 64 Game Cube: Phantasy Star Offline or Christal Cronicles
I think than since both Banjo-Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie where relased as second party games, they should be considered as that (besides Nintendo probably still owns the code fore those two games)

No, Nintendo no longer owns ANY rights to those games... the rights were doled out when the companies split, so Nintendo got any DKC and Starfox Adventures stuff, and Rare got everything else. So Rare could well release a remake of Banjo-Kazooie on X-Box, for instance. But it's a Nintendo published game, so it shouldn't count. As a matter of fact, so is Crystal Chronicles... so that shouldn't count either

Mario Party 3 was published by Nintendo, and Conker's BFD is technically a 3rd party game, the only N64 game published by Rare (without being published by the Big N).
Also, I enjoy Maniac Mansion on the NES, and it's sequel on my Mac. Oh, and FF III/VI for the SNES.
