English SummaryOriginal French summary at JuexFranceCiting a Nintendo Dream, Famitsu, and Gamelabo, we have a Japanese release date for SSB:B. It's expected to be launched in December. We can also expect some information on the game this May. In other Nintendo news, Super Mario Galaxy is to hit Japan this October.

...How come your source completely contradicts what you just said? Your source (the English one at least) said there's a Square-Enix party in May, and SSBB is expected to launch in Japan in December. Nothing about new SSBB news. I am now confused.

If you look really closely at the SSBB page...you won't find anything mentioning a release date there. And that's pretty much the be-all-to-end-all in official news. I'd consider your info as rumor milling.

I'm fairly confident that Famitsu can be trusted for the most part... but my issue is with the fact both those sites say December for SSBB, while WS says July.
What happen, WanderingShadow? Did somebody set up you the bomb?

Looks like someone did, indeed, set us up the bomb. I just pray that the states will get it before the end of 2007. But, the good news is it will F***ing rock thanks to that extra time.

What happen, WanderingShadow? Did somebody set up you the bomb? Not so much. My mind was dwelling on the fact that Final Fantasy Tactics Advance 2 exists and it'll be released in Japan this July. You're right, I'll edit my original post.

I think Mario Galaxy will be released in Sept-Dec 2007 area, and Brawl either released in Jun-Aug 2007area or Jan-Apr 2008.
For great justice !!

Well, both the official Japanese and US website say "planned for release in 2007". If Nintendo can get this out in time for Christmas, they'll be laughing!
Unfortunately.... I expect that won't happen for me! All I ask for is a simultaneous worldwide release of the most anticipated game ever! Is that too much to ask?!

Yes, Fryguy, Halo 3 will have a simultaneous worldwide release. Isn't that great? Hahaha. Don't worry, that was just a little joke.

I heard from a Gamestop manager (who seems pretty credible, but still--take this with your grain of salt) that Brawl is locked for a Fall release, but the date just hasn't been announced yet. *shrug* I'd dig it, but I doubt its accuracy.

Game stores might get to find out about 20% of release dates about 24 hours before the rest of the populace does! The other 80% is sourced from the same place as the rest of us - teh internets!
So don't trust videogame store staff, magazines (and in some cases, official sources) to actually have this information faster than the rest of us.
