I would really like Bowsers song form the game Super Maio 64 when you must grab Bowser by his tail and throw him into the bombs on the edge. This would really go good on a Bowser Castle Stage.

OOOOH, I like this topic! BLEH HEH HEH HEH!! Bleck! *goes to fetch his soundtrack listings*
King Bowser Medley: What better honor is there for one of the most recognizable and regal video game villains in the history of the medium than his own theme? This works best, of course, for a Bowser's Castle style stage, but alternate music would be fine. This includes: Castle (Super Mario Bros. 1) Airship (Super Mario Bros. 3) Castle (Super Mario World) Koopa's Road (Super Mario 64) Angry Bowser (Paper Mario) Final Battle (Super Mario Sunshine)
Ganondorf's Medley: Like Bowser, Ganondorf has served such a long tenure and has such an incredible theme that denying him of that love would be cruel and unjust. The song is composed of: Battle with Ganon (Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past) Inside Ganon's Castle (Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) Last Battle (Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time) Ganondorf Battle (Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker) Boss: Ganondorf (Horseback) (Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess)
Dream Chaser: I would be happy if F-Zero X was only represented by this song alone and nothing else. My favorite song off the FZX soundtrack, Dream Chaser captures everything that made the game what it was: high-speed, nonstop action with 80s drum and guitar riffs. Or, as a much shorter summary: Fscking. METAL. *throws up Devil Horns* Dream Chaser (F-Zero X)
King Dedede's Theme: I...I've always loved this song ;__; Mt. Dedede Intro/Dedede Fight (Kirby's Dream Land)
Mario RPG Medley The thing about most Mario RPGs is that their musical scores tend to be unforgettable. Most being the key word. *Glares at the M&L games* And since Mario RPGs have really taken a life of their own in the Mario genre (which is something that hasn't happened with any other franchise except Wario), it's only just that they get their own medley as well. Includes the following tracks: Beware the Forest Mushrooms (Super Mario RPG) Fight Against an Armed Boss (Super Mario RPG) Ghost Gulping (Paper Mario) Doopliss Battle (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door) X-Naut Fortress (Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door) Closing Battle (Super Paper Mario) Alternate Download The Ultimate Show (Super Paper Mario) Alternate Download
Megaman Mega-Medley Assuming Megaman will be in the game (*fingers crossed*), I've thrown together a medley of ideal songs from the entire franchise. Cutman Stage (Megaman) Wily Stage 1-2 (Megaman 2) Aquaman Stage (Megaman 8) Ice Penguin Stage (Megaman X) The Main Gate (Megaman Legends) Virus Busting (Megaman Battle Network 2) Final Stage (Ura Internet) (Megaman Network Transmission) Opening Stage (Megaman Zero 2)
Champion Medley The Champion themes tend to be the most intense battle music in Pokémon games, and I feel would be appropriate for Brawl. So here is a medley of all four Champion battle musics from the main Pokémon games (sorry, can't find an MP3 for the DP one...): Lance & Red Battle Theme (Pokémon: Gold/Silver/Crystal) Champion Daigo (Pokémon: Ruby/Sapphire) Last Battle (Vs. Rival) (Pokémon: FireRed/LeafGreen) Champion Cynthia (Pokémon: Diamond/Pearl)
Nintendo Hydrodynamo Medley I imagine these songs could be incorporated into some kind of non-franchise water-based stage, maybe for Adventure mode. Aquas (Star Fox 64) Crashed Frigate (Metroid Prime) Underwater (Super Mario Bros.) Dire, Dire Docks (Super Mario 64) Main Title (Wave Race 64) Underwater Tunnels (Wario Land II) Ocean (Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker) Lake Hylia (Legend of Zelda: The Twilight Princess) Decide in the Eyes (F-Zero X) Bubbleman Stage (Megaman 2)
Star Fox 64 Medley (Updated) Because it's basically the origin for all SF music following it, and I hate the music from the original game and Adventures. XD Meteo Star Wolf Sector X Training Andross Brain Versus (One-By-One) Katina
Phendrana Drifts Medley For a Metroid game, I found Phendrana Drifts to be a very calming place. I've really developed a soft spot for the two songs you pick up there, and I'd love to see them get in somewhere. Phendrana Drifts 1 (Metroid Prime) Phendrana Drifts 2 (Metroid Prime)
Various Boss Battle Songs Now that we know Petey Piranha plays a role in the game somewhere, it'd only be fitting if the following frantic frackas tunes found a home in the game. This isn't a medley, necessarily, since it'd be neat if each boss had their own theme. Boss Battle (Super Mario Sunshine) Boss B (Star Fox 64)
Jimmy's Funky Medley: You can't deny a man with a blue afro, so here are two of Jimmy T.'s most funktastic themes from the WarioWare games: Jimmy's Showtime (WarioWare: TOUCHED) Feline Fever (WarioWare: Smooth Moves)
WarioWorld Medley These songs, I think, define WarioWorld for me and stand out as the most memorable. Greenhorn Forest Paused
Captain Falcon Because he deserves some candy! Captain Falcon (F-Zero GX)
F-Zero GX Electro-Medley If it's one thing F-Zero GX/AX did correctly, it was proper electronica music. Here's a few of my favorites mixed into one thing: Mighty Gazelle Dr. Stewart Digi-Boy Zen (Aeropolis) Gomar & Shioh Spade Planet Colors (Green Plant)
UPDATE TiME!
Some Sonic Tunes: As we've discovered that Sonic is actually in the game since the last time I updated this topic, here are some worthy Sonic songs I hope to hear in Brawl somehow. E.G.G.M.A.N. in particular, as I would like that to play when you face off against Eggman...because you know he'll be a Boss character in one of his Egg-o-Matic machines. I'd also prefer that tune in particular be one of the unchanged songs in Brawl, since the original is wintastic.
I included a Sonic R song because it's the first ever of the Crappy Racing Spinoff Sonic games, and its music is catchy as hell. I figure it deserves a little bit of love and respect, since nothing to come after it is as musically addicting.
What I'm Made Of (Sonic Heroes) E.G.G.M.A.N. (Sonic Adventure 2) Super Sonic Racing (Sonic R) Egg Carrier (Sonic Adventure) At Dawn (Sonic Adventure) Green Hill Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog) Crank the Heat Up!! (Sonic Adventure) Boss (Sonic The Hedgehog) Mushroom Hill Zone (Sonic 3 & Knuckles) Sky Sanctuary Zone (Sonic 3 & Knuckles) Sonic Boom (Sonic CD)
More to come...

Who doesn't love Dedede's theme? It's freaking awesome! ;D
I'd love to hear some songs from Mario Sunshine (it makes me sad that there was never a soundtrack album for it, because it has some awesomely catchy tunes) and some more medleys. The medleys in Melee (especially the Metroid ones, and I'm not even a big Metroid fan) were my favourite songs by far. I definately want to hear more along the lines of the Ocarina of Time medley on the site.

Mona Pizza:Unfortunately, unless Kongo Jungle from Melee returns as a Past Stage, we probably won't get the theme song from DK64 as a stage theme . While not quite as iconic, I think Mona Pizza would totally make up for it. It's just as catchy and cute, and I can see it being extended and modified so it loops comfortably, without making the song less "fun". This HAS to be, at the very least, an alternate theme for a Wario Ware stage. Mona Pizza (Wario Ware Twisted)Green Hill Zone:If Sonic is playable, then Green Hill needs to be his stage, and this needs to be the stage theme. End of story. (One of Sonic's corny vocalized songs from Sonic Adventure would be acceptable as an alternate theme) Green Hill Zone (Sonic the Hedgehog)Link's Awakening Medley:Will this ever happen? No. But it'd be a dream come true if it did. Call me crazy if you wish, but Link's Awakening is actually my favorite Zelda game of all time. Everything about it was just done amazingly, despite the whole 8-bit thing; amazing characters, amazing items, amazing dungeons, amazing puzzles, and yes, amazing music. Some of the best music in the series is likely going to get overlooked once again, and that's a shame. Ballad of the Wind Fish, Mt. Tamaranch, Mabe Village, Credits (All from The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening) Also, were Fox's and/or Wolf's themes arranged in Melee? I don't remember if they were, but if they weren't then it would be awesome to hear them in Brawl. More to come when I remember them.

The Venom music was basically just the regular ol' StarFox 64 theme, but Corneria was a medley of a few different songs from the original StarFox.

the Star Wolf theme is a great song, and a newly orchestrated EPIC version would be seriously awesome.
also, I'd like some actual Yoshi's Island music please! :< Yoshi's Story is NOT A VALID SUBSTITUTE.

Given the amount of musicians, and the fact that they're apparently each contributing several songs... I wouldn't be surprised if each stage had more than one alternate song.

It's not going to happen, but I would like to see (or rather hear) Miror B's XD theme in one of the Pokemon themed arenas.
I would also like to see the inclusion of a couple of boss themes from Paper Mario.

I've decided to make my first post a sort of "master collection" of soundtracks, so all of my updates will go there. As such... I've updated it! Hoorah!Dream Chaser:I would be happy if F-Zero X was only represented by this song alone and nothing else. Decide in the Eyes is one of my favorite F-Zero songs because it's just good to race (or fight) through. While I love Decide in the Eyes (hell, all F-Zero X music), I'm trying to pick songs that we haven't heard before. Decide in the Eyes was used for the Big Blue stage in SSBM. I wouldn't mind hearing it again since it and the Mute City music have only been in Melee, but I'm still striving for freshness. Especially since I'm kind of tired of orchestral remixes of the SMB theme, the LoZ Overworld theme, and the Kirby song that's been in both SSB games so far. I don't want F-Zero X music to suffer the same indignity XD

What does QFT stand for? XD;;
Anyway, they did use the second Dedede theme in both SSB games (a faster version for Dream Land in SSB and a slow one for Fountain of Dreams in SSBM)--the one I linked to in my post is the original theme for him, from Kirby's Dream Land. I like that one much better IMO <3
I'm kind of annoyed they recycled the Corneria music for Brawl, though. Even though it was a new song it was probably my least favorite off the Melee soundtrack.

It wasn't in either... SSB used the second Gourmet Race theme, SSBM used that same song and the Great Cave Offensive theme (which was also a remix of Green Greens). EDIT: That was a Dedede theme? I've... never heard it used in relation to Dedede.

Wait, no, it wasn't.
Sorry--I never owned an NES or SNES, so I missed out on a lot of games from those eras. D: My specialty starts with later stuff, from the N64 up.
