Click here to listen to it. - The copyright for this music is held by Nintendo.
- Check your volume settings.
You can play Kid Icarus on Virtual Console now. Have you tried it? You should really get a hold of this game and just sink your teeth in.
In terms of music, I think the most memorable themes for players were the Grim Reaper theme and the Game Over theme.
For this arrangement, I had these themes incorporated.
You might imagine it to be a bit forced, but I think it sounds quite good.

Nice! Angel Land is a Nintendo flavor that Super Smash Bros. was lacking since 1999, both in graphics and music.
Not sure if I like the part with the Game Over tune, though (who wants to remember a game over moment?)

This was AWESOME! A very awesome arrangement of Kid Icarus, if I say so myself. The Grim Reaper theme was so cool to hear . One thing that concerns me though, is that the song seemed to end already, just in that minute and six seconds. Is that the whole thing? Do we listen to that short little tune loop over and over? There's probably more, and I sure hope there is.

I think all pieces of music posted so far have been around that length... they're just shortened for the website, I guess.
Loving this update by the way. I never played much of Kid Icarus but I did always enjoy its music.

Yes, I know, but all the other tunes faded out, implying there was more we hadn't heard yet. This time it just plain ENDED.

A lot of them fade in as well. We are only hearing tiny chunks of song at any one time.

It could just be a pause in the music. I doubt that's all of it... at least I hope not.
I never played Kid Icarus all that much, but I still recognised all of this music. And it made me feel nostalgic. I'm really glad the reaper theme is in there.

It may be like Metroid where there is more songs hidden in between the interludes. I doubt that was the whole song.
But this updates makes me super duper happy. It's the song I wanted, the way I envisioned, AND they had the gusto to add the Reaper and Game Over tunes, not mention call the song by its proper name. Hehe! Now here's hoping the alternate music is the Sky Palace :3

That was WICKED! I never got far in Kid Icarus, but I played enough to have the Underworld-related music ingrained in my head. I'm really glad they used these tunes. XD
I loved the bongo beats in the pause between the Underworld and Grim Reaper theme. It relaxed me a little bit.

You know, I'm not disappointed with this update. The last couple have been...unentertaining. But when are they going to introduce Peach?! They're just dragging it on!
