This is extremely spicy curry that seems to crackle with flames.Is... Is it safe to eat that?Of course, this is no ordinary food, because when you eat it...It’s so spicy, flames shoot out of your mouth! Is this funny? Is it a joke? You just keep spitting out flames.
This is different from the flames of a Fire Flower, because you continue spewing these flames as you perform attacks. You can even do this! You can do combos one would normally never think of. I’m not sure if it’s painful or fun.

Whoa... I wonder if this item will get its own theme, a la Hammer or Starman.
I like the expression of Diddy Kong. Characters are getting a lot of animations.

Hah! The Superspicy Curry! I never thought we'd see that again! ;D
It just occurred to me that the Kirby anime episode, Burning Hot! Family Resturant War, was probably based on this item, too.

Yay! I think this means no more fire flower! Anyway fun update. Tomorrow I hope will be a character. Maybe Lucas or Captain Falcon.

The update mentions the Fire Flower, so I doubt it's gone.

ON TOPIC:
This item first appeared in Kirby's Dream Land 1 as an item, which was later replaced by Kirby's Fire ability. In the English version of the Kirby anime, it was referred to as "Toxic Atomic Curry". What if the Mint/Potato became an item in SSBB?
OFF TOPIC (Well, kind of):
I enjoy spicy food and I usually bring a bottle of hot sauce with me whenever I go to a restaurant. Even though, most restaurants already have hot sauce, most of them just have McIlhenny's Tabasco, and I've had enough of it, I usually like Texas Pete, Sriracha, Tapatío, some rare kinds, and homemade. The spiciest meal I ever ate was some Braveheart hot wings (not related to the Mel Gibson movie) at the Wild Wings Café in Athens, Georgia. They were about as spicy as the Spontaneous Combustion hot sauce, the spiciest hot sauce I ever tasted. The original record on how many Braveheart hot wings a person ate was 7 pieces, and I beat it, I ate 10 pieces.

Potato? I don't remember there being a potato in KDL. I'll be disappointed if the curry theme doesn't play when you have this item... but I can live with it. It's still an awesome retro item. ;D

It's still an awesome retro item. ;D The Mint/Potato item is the one that you used to rapidly exhale/burp. The most notable time in using this item is when you fight Kaboola the blimp.

The Mint Leaf? I don't remember it ever having anything to do with a potato...

Looks more like a lime, if anything. But the official name is Mint Leaf.

Nice!
I'm not exactly sure what this does. Maybe your attacks have a longer range thanks to the fire, or maybe their power goes up.

Your attacks are exactly the same, but you're breathing fire while you do them. It's like fighting while using a Fire Flower.
