These attacks are for the most part nifty, but Rock Smash is a bit of a disappointment. It's my least favorite HM ever (even including Defog and Flash) and deserves to never be seen or used again X( I hope that Sakurai makes it slightly more useful here than it is in Pokémon, at least...

This was an update that could have been CO Andy's special moves. Being something Advance Wars related, I must ask, Why?

Because Pokemon Trainer commanding Pokemon could have been a Wars CO commanding his battalion? I'm not sure, but I still think that might happen, though maybe a regular character with a Bv "Command" move or something.

Things I liked from the anime are Squirtle's Hydro Pump and Charizard's Seismic Toss. If they get individual Final Smash attacks and not all of them are the elemental hyper beams, then Hydro Pump as depicted in the anime could be good for Squirtle. Hmm... Squirtle looks like a Koopa for me... A friend of mine used to compare it to a Koopa Troopa, too. I imagine something like that could be used for Bowser Jr. if he appears.

Until we get Advance Wars in Brawl, I am obligated to play the role of the spited Nintendo fan that Sakurai has singularly cornered out as hating. Why you ask? DKVine no longer can. I have to KEEP THE FIRE ALIVE.

Face it. No guns = No Advance Wars. Also, the only one that could work for an Advance Wars character is Ivysaur's Anti-Air Bullet Seed.

I'm not seeing your point, here.

Just put an Advance Wars Co in a Neotank (preferably Sami) and then, No guns needed. Or remove Snake from the game to use his move sets for Sami, I bet it fits like a glove

I'm not seeing your point, here. I think he was using Solid Snake as an example. Sakurai said on the original SSBB site (before the daily updates) that Snake wouldn't use real guns, instead relying on explosives, martial arts, and cardboard boxes. I don't think that applies to everyone necessarily, though--I think an Advance Wars character who uses fire-arms could get in.

The screenshot at Bridge of Eldin made me wonder this: what would happen to this type of "background characters" when the floor disappears, like in Bridge of Eldin and Castle Siege? I imagine they could: - Fall and appear later from one side of the stage (or on a lower floor in Castle Siege)
- Always avoid falling (and appearing from nowhere in the lower floors of Castle Siege)
We have seen the Pokémon Trainer at Rumble Falls... Can he climb the ladders or something?

He could be like Tingle in SSBM's Termina stage...if you pop his balloon and he falls down into the water, he's gone for a while before respawning from the sky. Maybe it won't matter what happens to him because he'll eventually respawn wherever you wind up.

He may start riding a flying pokemon. Or just jump and move around.

I'm guessing he is quite capable of moving around in the background, otherwise he simply wouldn't work on a lot of stages. Perhaps he even jumps when your Pokemon jumps. Who knows!!

Maybe it won't matter what happens to him because he'll eventually respawn wherever you wind up. Actually he did not respawn in the sky after he fell into the water. He would come back up from the water on the back of the giant turtle. On-topicCould'nt the inspiration for these PT pokemon special moves be a reference to the Pokemon FR/LG games HM's Also maybe since all the PM have at least one HM move (Charizard: Rock Smash, Squirtle: Waterfall) maybe Ivysaur has Cut as his <B. (Personally, that's just an idea. I hope that does not actually happen).
