Cool video. Like it when they started playing the Underworld theme. This is probobly the start of the third level, and the first platforming level. Definatly cool.
........still waiting for a character though.

I thought this video was awesome despite the fact that there's no voice acting. The placement of the Underworld remix was perfect, and I loved how it showed that Pit--while also a warrior--is just a kid at heart. It's very pure, very...I dunno, fulfilling. Nintendo needs to make a new Kid Icarus game, dammit X( The whole falling backwards and closing his eyes was too Final Fantasy for me, but damn was that cool to see Pit in action. He's still, basically, a kid, and that is beyond awesome. This doesn't really confirm if each character has their own storyline or not, though. I want it that way badly, but we just have to wait. No, it's not really anything like Final Fantasy. In an FF game, freefalling with your eyes closed is supposed to be a cliché metaphor about being a pussy and giving up; in this, it's literally just Pit jumping into the air and closing his eyes--probably because he enjoys the sensation it brings, or the fact that he's going back into action for the greater good. Not to mention Pit's actually an angel, something Square only assumes all of their characters are. Cool video. Like it when they started playing the Underworld theme. This is probobly the start of the third level, and the first platforming level. Definatly cool. ........still waiting for a character though. I don't think we'll see many more characters to be honest. As much as I'd love for my "One character per week" average to hold out, we may be looking at the bulk of the starting roster. If we see one character every other week we'd be looking at a starting roster of 23; one character every three weeks would land us with...21, I think, and then once a month would get us 19. Considering Meta Knight is probably going to be one of the remaining characters revealed and Captain Falcon is a no-brainer, there aren't a whole lot of surprises left on the character front. Oh, and we might also see Sheik, which would be a transformation and not count as a true character. That's also a possibility. With Peach, the entire starting roster of both SSB and Melee have been confirmed to return with the exception of Captain Falcon and Ness. Just thought I'd point that out.

You forgot the Ice Climbers too. Ohhhhh yeah. Whoops. I tend to forget about 'em, since I didn't really like them in Melee. Okay, so the entire starting Melee roster 'cept Captain Falcon, Ness and the Ice Climbers. I really hope they show Captain Falcon soon, though. At least as long as he's next. I wanna see what he looks like in Brawl! ;D

Wow, sorry to insult your oh-so precious FF games, guys (and yes, I play them too. so don't be all like "you don't UNDERSTAND, maaaannnn" on me) The free-fall bit I was just expressing a tad bit of grief over because, A. I am a nerd and that's what we do as nerds, B. I am at heart a huge Kid Icarus fan and I'm still having trouble adjusting to the odd "Sora-ness" of the new Pit, and C. c'mon, that wasn't cheezy? but whatever. Tomorrow's Update...? Captain Falcon

I liked the clip, enjoyed the child-like qualities of Pit, and got no Square vibes whatsoever. If Pit fell backwards and landed on a Chocobo, then I'd be inclined to think differently.

Woo. When I first read the title I thought it said Pit's Decent. ;D
Nice video had to go to Youtube though. Screw Final Fantasy BRAWL FTW!

When I first saw the title I mistook it for "Pit's Descendant", leading e to think that the Pit in this game isn't the same one as the Pit in the original Kid Icarus games. Man, was I wrong.

Yeah, thats probobly the case. I wouldn't mind if they finsih off the roster between now and October. Japan gets it late November so it would work out. Theres only about 5 characters left (Meta-Knight, Capt. Falcon, Ness/Lucas, Sheik, and Ice Climbers). One every 2 weeks would take about 10-9 weeks, which would lead into November. Then they casn focus on more of the finer things, as well as Final Smashes and special moves. Maybe a new pokemon soon hmmm?

I believe these are what Pit and Palutena said:
(While looking at the Subspace Bomb detonate) PIT: Oh my word!
(Before Pit turns around to face Palutena) PIT: My wings sense something.
PALUTENA: Pit.
(While Pit runs closer to Palutena) PIT: Yes, my goddess.
(While Palutena hands him the Sacred Bow) PALUTENA: Take this. It is now more powerful than before.
(While Pit grabs the Sacred Bow) PIT: Wow.
(While Pit looks up at Palutena) PIT: Then what?
(While Palutena points her hand toward the doorway) PALUTENA: Depart now, and be cautious while you save them.
(While Pit nods "yes") PIT: I will.

This makes me think he would be a silent character in future Kid Icarus games.
Interesting entrance; I guess tveye is right about the screenshots. I wonder what happened between the video #2 and this one.
