I want a (Put any cart-based Nintendo system here) Player! Imagine, you could just play games of Nintendo 64 and SNES and anything on GC! Why not wait for the Revolution? I wish I could, but Nintendo has no supports over here. So most probably we'll be unable to use it. And.... I want a Kirby SuperStar remake!!!!!!

I like the SMRPG idea. I want to see another SimCity on a Nintendo system. Nintendo's SimCity 1 port for the SNES was amazing, but the 3rd party SC2K port absolutely pales to the PC or Macintosh version. MS Word on the GameCube? That could work, but it wouldn't be able to do a lot of things. A HyperCard port on the SNES wouldn't be that bad.

I suppose so, only it's could be a compilation of Fire Emblem games. I'd proudly belt out fifty dollars to play the first six or so Fire Emblems. (by the way, Sonic Mega Collection is sweet)

I'd like to see Nintendo do a simple "Nintendo Museum" collection. Just rehash the same 6 or so NES games once again, then toss on some rarer/lesser known ones. Sell it as a GCN disc for 30 bucks, like Megaman Collection, and you've got yourself a profit And I always wondered why Square never released the FF games on Cube like all those rumors said

I'd like to see arcade games instead: NES isn't THAT old, and there are still a lot of functioning NES/FC consoles. A square is 2-dimensional, a cube is 3-dimensional. And they can't make anything 3D without help. Well, I was kidding. I think that it's because of... Square let Nintendo publish all FF games on it.

Nintendo didn't really puplish any off it's Final Fantasy gomes on the SNES or NES(aside from FF I) but then again I don't know why square never released any games on the Sega Mega-drive(Genesis in America).

Because Square was in cahoots with Nintendo at the time... most developers were. In fact, it was only developers who felt Nintendo's licensing system was brutally unfair who had a habit of exporting themselves to Sega's machine.
And no matter how hard you tried, the Mega Drive couldn't have made games look as lovely as FF2+3 (US titles, of course).

There's the big rumor that Nintendo didn't like how Mario RPG turned out, and told Square to hit the road.
Of course, this isn't true (though it would be kinda funny). Yamauchi has a huge disdain for Square because they ditched Nintendo when Sony started making the Playstation. Not only did Square give Sony the advantage from that point on in the market, but they successfully marketed RPGs to western audiences, simultaneously tainting all originality in future RPGs and seizing a monopoly on RPG sales in the west at the same time. Everybody had to make big, epic, sci-fi/fantasy RPGs like FF7 on the Playstation because it meant big money for whoever developed them, leaving Nintendo completely in the dust. To this day they have yet to recover with a decent share of the RPG market (they only have their own RPGs, which are very niche series anyways)
This is why I have such a huge disliking, maybe even hatred, for Sony. They ruined a perfect relationship between developers, and destroyed mainstream RPGs by publishing FF7 in the west.

The N64 cartriges can only hold 32 Mega bytes while PSX CD can hold a whopping 700 Mega bytes, imagine how many cartriges FFVII would've needed on the N64? And as for the RPG thing, Nintendo did have Quest 64(or holy magic century), and they were developing Earth bound 64...oh wait they cancelded it.

Also, you can't forget about Paper Mario. Square is known to make amazingly long games, and trust me... they could not fit on one cart, and they wouldn't make a game on more than one cart.
