I could too. Being online isn't as big a deal to me as it is for most others.
Getting aggrivated at people I don't know... and getting thrashed over and over by kids half my age isn't the feature that's going to make Brawl a great game for me.
I don't really look forward to entering a match, only to find out that millions of people just play as the same character and keep using the same technique over and over to make sure they never lose. I don't want to have to enter a match, only to learn that I'm not worth playing with because I'm a noob that doesn't even understand that the game revolves around "TETHER JIGGLING" or "SOLID SNAKING" or "SLIDE WOBBLE META HUMPING" or god knows what INTERNET TACTICS people get all obsessive over.
I don't want to enter matches and get called cheap because the character I pick is "mid-to-low upper-ish tier" or is "Pit tier".
I'm not looking forward to having a fierce battle with my opponent "SEPHIROTHSHOULDHAVEBEENINTHISGAME89" only to find out he disconected while on his way down.
Online Smash Brothers doesn't appeal to me. If I want to get better and find other people to fight... I might have to actually meet people.

I don't really mind what the 100th update is as long as it's not that either TINGLE or SONIC as confirmed characters. Knowing my luck, It'll be both.  |

It'll be a Goldeen Pokéball update ;D I originally read that as "Golden Pokeball," and immediately thought of the GS Ball. GS BallLarge, heavy, and it doesn't open. What's inside? I dunno. But maybe if you let it sit around for another 10 years and forget about it, it'll finally reveal itself. Or maybe not. It depends how the developers are feeling. |
