This is one of the Pokémon you get from Professor Rowan in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl. It’s quite charming, so I’m sure there were quite a few people who chose it.It emerges from the Poké Ball!Suddenly, it starts sliding around using Surf! The simpler the stage, the greater the effect of this may be. If you’re wondering why, it’s because anyone who gets caught up in that surf will get washed way with Piplup. They’re getting washed away!If you get washed away, do what you can to get back. Even simple characters like this really stir things up on stages.

Not a very exciting update today. But at least it did not happen on Friday. NOW that would have been bad.

Online play, subspace baddies...I think we do need to cool off for one day.

I was still thinking in the chances of more than one trio of starter Pokémon being used by a Trainer, but this basically hints that the 4th generation starters that appear are going to be independent.

Yes! That means no Pichu! I was afraid Pichu would come back and use Surf as his Final Smash because special Pichu knows Surf in Pokemon Box: Ruby & Sapphire. But it also means there won't be other playable starters since we already got Pokemon Trainer and his three starters to represent the starter Pokemon of the series. That means no Blaziken! Yes! Maybe he can juse use Blaze Kick.

Nothing to discuss here. Arcadenik... you're reading way too much into this. It doesn't de-confirm Pichu or anything else.
And Flip... it was your own fault. The update will still be there in the morning.

Piplup seems like an slighlty improved SSBM Marill, doesn't it?

Hmm.. Yeah, Piplup sounds like an improved version of Marill. I wonder if Marill is still in the Pokeball or is playable... I hope he is still in the Pokeball.

Surf is simple, but brilliant. I'm surprised nobody thought about using surf like this for Melee.

Yeah, not that exciting. The good thing is maybe they took out Marril. Has got to be the dumbest pokemon in the game. 0H N0EZ, Marril is going to run into me. Maybe this one is a bit stronger/not suck.
