I stopped playing it when I hit the game-crashing bug. I've been updating the website since then And drinking. Lots of drinking! You do relise you can get around that by *SPOILER-light* not running out of the room like a little baby.

Could that really be a spoiler though? (I assume you are talking about the Master Luigi thing...) Are you mad 'cause he spoiled that it was Luigi? If so...it is really obvious... Eh, I don't really know. I haven't played Super Paper Mario. I'm on Chapter 4 or 5, and I still don't know what happened to Luigi after he was captured. That is, until I saw Master Luigi's avatar. Maybe pay a little more attention You find out about it at the end of chapter 4

I stopped playing it when I hit the game-crashing bug. I've been updating the website since then And drinking. Lots of drinking! It's an easy glitch to avoid--you don't need to talk to Mimi again after the first time. Just check all the rooms you can and eventually that big dog thing chases Mimi away. Don't let it scare you off!

Didn't scare me off, just annoyed me and wound me up, so I've been playing Virtual Console games instead ;D But it's still plugged in to my Wii for instant-playing.

Wait, you aren't supposed to talk to her a second time? Sweet, my game can't have the glitch then, because I did just that.

It only glitched for me when I talked to her a fifth time.

Same here. After I'd been in all the rooms, but not got the item you're supposed to get.

Funny, the email I got from Nintendo about it said the conditions causing the glitch are "so specific you may not even encounter it." Talking to an important plot character doesn't sound like such a specific condition to me, especially since the game encourages you to do so.

Yeah but 5 times? Why the hell do you need to talk to her 5 times?

Yeah but 5 times? Why the hell do you need to talk to her 5 times? That's what I'm wondering...does she say different things or something?

When you talk to her, she tells you what room to go into, and tells you to ABSOLUTELY NOT go into any other room. When that room turns out to be the wrong one, you go back and talk to her again, and she gives you another room to go to. This happens five times before you get a hint as to where the key is hidden, but when you talk to her that last time, the game crashes.

Really? I completely missed that. I just looked around all the rooms on my own I guess.

But the point is, you shouldn't have to look at an FAQ to progress in the game. It should be doable without having to either already know what to do, or just stumble over the key by dumb luck. They're called puzzles for a reason.

After that, she'll keep telling you rooms, all of which have traps.
