I'm not so sure about her standard B move. It seems kind of lame to me. Well, in Metroid Zero Mission, ZSSamus only has two attacks: shoot the Paralyzer, and charge the Paralyzer. At least Sakurai's being accurate. I'm interested in playing as ZSSamus now just to see what it's like to use Tether recovery moves...and I gotta admit the directional change aspect has me curious too.

I expected Zero Suit Samus's standard special would be to paralyze opponents. She did that in Metroid: Zero Mission. I knew Zero Suit Samus would use the whip like Sheik's side special because of the first trailer. But I didn't expect her up special to grab opponents above her! Very cool! Now I'm curious as to what her down special will be! Maybe her Final Smash will be shooting a large beam and then turning into Power Suit Samus or something like that in the GBA remake. I enjoyed playing Metroid: Zero Mission so I'll be sure to have some fun playing as Zero Suit Samus.

Damn... I was just going to say all the Zero Mission stuff, but I got beat to the punch. Again. OH WELL ;p
If you let the gun charge a little, it could stun pirates and most enemies. But if you get going rapid fire, it really didn't do any damage. My guess is that you have to shoot it to paralyze, but if you just keep pounding B it's a disgustingly weak/no-flinch attack. It's funny how this is the second attack that Sakurai's included that requires you to be conservative in using it (the other being the Wario Waft)

I can't stop staring at her boobies!
This is pretty cool, though we saw it coming. The pics make the attacks seem so powerful!

The Up B shows more emphasis on air. Much like on of Snakes attacks (not special) it attacks straight up. Countering air. Oh, and Ivysaur's B.
