This is a thread where you can ask any questions and hopfully somebody else can answer it. I accutally have two questions: Was that stage with the Ice Climbers dancing(from the 2007 Fall Movie) just the Smashville Stage or a Ice Climbers Stage? Now that Mario has a green alternate costume, do you think Luigi is in?

I think that was a new stage the IC were dancing on. There was an aurora in the background that would suggest that since no other course has that. Unless aurora's happen in ACWW then it could be on the Smashville stage and there has not been any footage of that shown at night yet.
Luigi, I would assume he was in the game as a hidden character. Didn't they say Mario also has (purple and yellow) original Wario, Waluigi and fire Mario alt costumes. But then again we never know what Sakarai has done to the game.

snuka7: Mario has had a green alternate costume in the past Super Smash Bros. games, which is automatically used for green-colored teams. And Luigi has been a character in those games, too. Luigi is one of the two Super Mario Brothers and rarely a palette swap of Mario after the begining of the last decade, so it's 100% expectable that we'll see Luigi in the game.

I was just asking about Luigi because I heard Nsiders saying that he is gone. I am just about sure he is in because one of the demostaters said, "All your favourites are here including Mario, Kirby, Luigi and heaps more."

Mario's green costume in Brawl is the same as it was in 64 and Melee - green hat and shirt with brown pants. In other words, it's not Luigi's colour scheme. I'd take that as proof that Luigi is in, personally. If he wasn't, surely they'd have given Mario a Luigi costume to make up for it.

In the demo:
Has anybody tried crawling? We saw Pikachu crawl in the trailer and he's in the demo. How about that footstool jump? Or did people just forget about it? I haven't seen it in a single video. And yet another technique I haven't seen anybody use.... has anybody tried holding down the attack button to do different moves? Apparently if you hold down attack, you do a different combo from the one you do if you tap the attack button. Anybody even try it?
I keep hearing about Tails as an Assist trophy... but I haven't seen proof. Can anybody please confirm this for me? It sounds fishy.

Ninja: I believe only 1 person has tried crawling and did it with Pikachu (from what I've heard).
Apparently the majority of the people who played Smash had not ever once visited the Dojo.

It's character specific. Bowser can do it too. They have done footstool jumping in one of the MTV videos. It sends you really high and spikes your foe Can't talk about the last two.

I mentioned crawling in another post. It's done by holding "diagonal down" on the analogue stick.

Does anybody have images for The demo Character Selection Screen and the Stage selection Screen? Not the videos though, just the pics.

I can see that someone might mistake Pit's yellow costume as being Tails in one of those videos. Luigi's a Shoe in.
Now If I may ask Did they take SHFFLC out yet? because I'd like to see Smash move towards using Legit Technique in a well formed manner to out wit your opponent rather than glitches.

Anyway, I can't see Luigi being left out of Brawl. Sure he needs a new moveset to distinguish himself more from Mario, but I'd say he's safe form being axed. I'm sure that if he wasn't, hordes of Luigi fans would storm Nintendo HQ's worldwide, in protest about making him playable ( I would anyway).

SHFFLC means Shuffle It's a technique where someone does a short hop, fires a projectile and then L-cancles to reduce the landing lag and do it again. It's normally done with Fox and Falco. Since L-canceling is out of Brawl, you can't shuffle anymore.

Does any of you know about Sumbura Ken? If not It is the old Melee Website. Did Sakurai realease all the characters before the realease date? Did he, because if he did then he will probley do it for brawl.

I think he MIGHT have added profiles for Jiggs and/or Luigi right before the game hit shelves, but that's it.
