Airship music is very nice. I was tired of watching these people SUCK at the adventure mode, though. Dedede is a BEAST I should add. Those Waddle Dees are a bit cheap in the right hands, but I love the way he moves. He's so jiggly and powerful. It's better than I ever imagined him being. I was on the fence about playing as him, but now.... Oh yeah  Hey, for shits 'n giggles, who are we all maining? I plan to keep Yoshi and Zelda mained and master Pit, Olimar, and Diddy. Wouldn't mind playing Wario or Dedede a lot either. |

Almost not worth saying. Before Melee I was so sure Kirby would still rock after SSB64, and that I'd play as Ice Climbers a lot. But it all changed - Kirby lost a lot of his punch and Ice Climbers turned out to be endlessly frustrating due to Nana's retardation.
This time around, who knows? Maybe Ice Climbers will be awesome and Sheik will suck! All I know is this... I'll still love playing as Jigglypuff regardless of how lame she is ;D

Before Melee I was so sure Kirby would still rock after SSB64... I was the same with Ness. He was amazing in 64, but in Melee he was just...blah. My best ended up being Ganondorf. |

I pissed off some jackass from Smashboards by saying I thought the 35 character roster was fake and explained how I felt the NeoGAF guys could easily be lying. He replied with a MASSIVE WALL OF TEXT on what a loser I was. It's amazing how fervent people get over this sort of crap.
Just wait 2 days, geez.

Jigglypuff is a hell of a character! N00b I know that. But Jigglypuff was originally added as a "duff" character, meant to be a bit rubbish. SSBM made her rock, and gave "duff" status to Pichu (who some nutters still insist is one of the best characters). Man, can't you love a character without pissing someone off these days?!  |

For Melee, I knew - I knew - that I'd be maining with Falco (even though I didn't know what 'maining' was at the time), and that didn't change one bit. I blame Val Toasty for turning me completely and utterly gay for the character. ;D I also had a feeling that I'd use Mewtwo a lot, which also wound up being true!
What I did not anticipate was that I would wind up using Captain Falcon more than Mewtwo, or that I would not use Mr. Game & Watch very frequently, as the concept was wicked but in execution he kind of flopped.
But this is an anticipation I do look forward to making; I imagine I will be using Dedede often because he looks absolutely devastating and hilarious, while I'd like to use Wario and Snake a ton, too. If Falco is out, I imagine Dedede would replace him as my main and Captain Falcon would again ride in Second Place.
But, who knows? ;D

That's better... you have yet to experience the pure ownage of a Puff, my brother uses him and I can barely win. Fear the puff. Did you see the end of the SSE Donkey's story? I almost creamed my pants here and I can now imagine how the story will develop. This is major spoilers so take care. |

Well I'm more of a random person, but since the first trailer I was all over Wario and Pit. Ofcourse then Ice Climbers showed up on the Dojo, then Lucas and finally Dedede. I'll probably try and figure those three out first, but I can't wait to play as Yoshi and good ol' Kirby either. And then there're the unlockables Jigglypuff, Ness and Snake... ArGh, so many rad characters to choose from!
While I'm on the subject, I'm looking forward morely to the return of the veterans rather then more newcomers. How they have changed ,moves/balance and appearance, what their Final Smash is etc. I wonder how manly Falcon's FS will be?

I just got this off GoNintedo. Hard to say whether this should go in here or have it's own thread because it's just a hardware related issue but the images below show how many blocks SSBB takes up in the Wii memory. The number of blocks it takes up is 128 by the way. It also confirms that the game uses the "Havok" physics engine as well.  Confrimation of Havok.  Number of blocks. Link. |
