The rotation mode sounds handy. It's a great way to play with more than four people. This way, other can take turns while I keep playing.

This is a good way to solve the issue of handing off controllers and, 1, losing your KO count and, 2, having to use the previous guy's control mode. Also, considering most people NEVER do tournament mode and rather do pickups and such, this is fantastic. It really works to incorporate the whole room into the game, without going through the mess of 1v1 tournaments.

Nice Update. I don't think any of us needed this, but it's a nice and handy addition. I'll probably use it quite a bit when I'm with a lot of people which happens often.
I just hope you can set it to something like, last and first out.

Handy. This won't work well for me since I plan on having competitions with Absurd Controller Schemes. Still good though.

It took me almost seven hours to fully understand the subtle awesome this update exudes. It's not a fscking METAL awesome...it's more like a Tron-the-Disney-movie awesome, where the awesome is passive and yet still there and still as awesome as any kind of loud awesome that exists.
Since I have more than three other friends who enjoy a good Smashing, this works really well; KO Count was never a big loss in our group, but it was always a small inconvenience to remember to change names. Now that the player's name also holds their preferred control scheme, this works out doubly-well. I approve!

This mode is for them.

I wonder if they'll put in a feature where the Wii bakes cookies while you wait. That would be the best thing ever. This won't bake cookies but it's the closest device possible that can cook food and plug into one of the Wii's USB ports. Link.
