Because today update, I'm sure that a lot of people would want to play Kirby's Air Ride. Don’t do it. This may seem like a joke, but you absolutely must not play it. Geng its right, Don't play Air Ride, you may get addicted to it. Its a awesome game (if you have people to play it with) I recommend city trial with other two or three friends, pure fun and you will get the smash vibe from it.

That's why I didn't like it. It didn't feel like Kirby at all.

I love this.
Yeah, there are more items like this in Nintendo series, but many of them are too minor. Living beings as collectable items would be nice.

This is a great update. This week is better than last week. Also, I played Kirby Air Ride before and getting parts is fun and adds some work to do in the game. Awesome update

I'll be honest, I was expecting a certain character, but I gotta love the idea for this item. Very nice, but I know people will want to turn it off. It is a fair item. Just like in Air Ride, in order to complete the item, you must fight over it. Two things I noticed. Mario and Kirby have a lot of items. The Kirby part I don't think becuase Sakurai works on this and Kirby, but that the franchise has a lot of usable items. The other is GOD are there a lot of items in this game. Most of the ones from Melee are returning and now we have a slew of new ones, some that haven't been added to the Dojo. Also, cool sig lastridefeliz123. EDIT: kirbychu: No, he was indeed involved with Air Ride. He left after that game Here

The targeting thing is interesting. It gives me a few questions...
1) Is the Dragoon blockable? Because if it is, simply being able to block the hit would make all that collecting and targeting totally useless. If you see the target land on you.... block! I can't see myself ever getting hit by it if it's blockable.
2) And it's speed... do you have to target where it's going to be... or is it an instant hit? I ask these questions because if people can see where it's going to go.... that makes it too easy to avoid or block. However... if it's unblockable... and VERY fast... THEN it might be worth it to collect all 3 peices.
Though I still imagine it's easy to roll to avoid it...
For an item that is 3 pieces you have to collect... it had better be worth it in the end... if it turns out it's easy to avoid... then the battle for these items won't be hot. They'll be ignored and neglected.

What makes me go crazy is just how many items this game is going to have. Melee didn't add to many on top of the original that really made me go "Wow." Super Scope and Warp Star were fantastic, but the additional items were by and large wasted space.
But this time around... Hoo boy. Not only are the revealed items slick, but some of the ones that haven't been mentioned on the site yet (like the Springboard, Soccer Ball, or Stopwatch) are so mysterious and awesome I'm dying to know what they do.

Yeah, and all that on top of nearly every item from Melee...insanity!
Beautiful update! I'm very fond of Air Ride, me and my younger brother will get a kick out of collecting the pieces just as we did in City Trial...

I haven't played Air Ride, but this looks good. And the prospect of a 1 hit KO sounds cool, but like someone said, I hope it isn't easy to avoid as it'll be virtually useless.
As, for the idea of having a Pikmin army item, that would rule out any appearance of Capt. Olimar as a playable character or AT.

^Don't forget Sea Urchin yo
Anyway the Dragoon item thing is awesome, but I hope it's done right. By that I mean that if 1 part appears, several different parts appear shortly after instead of getting one part at the beginning of the match and only the exact same part shows up near the end of the game. If that's the case I actually might turn it off..
