I was gonna check out the characters and stages only, leaving the complete list of items, music, modes and moves for me to discover myself, but... that breakable glass update somehow made me reconsider this. Since I'll have to wait about another 3 weeks (shipping..) after Japan release I'll probably end up spoiling myself and just post here again hur, but untill then..
I'll still check out the DOJO and post in the update threads if those are mostly spoil-free though.

I think I'll stick around, too. I'll avoid Subspace movies that aren't on the Dojo, but aside from that... it seems pointless to avoid spoilers when the rest of the world is getting it in the next two months and we still don't even have a date.  |

I'll definitely stick around, even if there will be tons of spoilers. Simply being told to "do this thing unlock that particular thing" type spoilers doesn't dampen my enthusiasm or expections when I actually get round to play the goddamn thing.

That one month wait I mentioned in the first post just magically turned into 2 months.
I remember thinking back in October that the game would be out in 2 months. Nope. So 2 months later I remember thinking... "Ok, NOW the game will be out in 2 months". Nope. NOW here it is... January... and the game is.... 2 months away.
You know, I don't want to sound insensitive to those people living in Europe... but I'm getting sick of this feeling. That 2 month wait... turned into HALF A YEAR.
So I wanted to avoid the spoilers for the game since Japan was getting it 2 weeks before us in the USA. Well... that's no longer true.... now they're getting it about 5 weeks earlier.
I don't think I'm going to be able to avoid my favorite websites for THAT long... I mean... jeez... unless I get a hobby or something.... (or maybe a life)....
You wouldn't believe how pissed off I was to see that news today on the dojo. After all that BS "confirmation" that there would be no more delays. After having Feb 10th set in STONE (kinda like Dec 3rd was) for 3 months.... Unbelievable.
So I guess I'm back after.... a... couple of days? Doesn't look like I missed much.
Anyway, I updated the "what we know" thread to include the info from the latest demo, and the latest dojo updates. And I'm glad that goat guy turned out to be fake. It just goes to show... um... actually I don't know what it goes to show.

I suggest that there should be two SSB boards in one. One that discusses about the SSB series without spoilers and one that discusses about the SSB series with spoilers.
I would also like to see people in this forum not use spoilers in their sigs, avatars nor anything else similar.

e other as I'm going to spoil myself rotten, but whatever.Just one thought on this, lets say Miis are in Brawl Miis+Snapshots = Avatar. So would it be best to wait until say 150 to 200 days after the PAL release or what. |

On another forum, we made spoiler topics for big name games, and all the spoilers were suppose to go there. We could try that here. The other thing is somewhat of a given. Most people here know that you should not add things to your sig/avatar if it is a spoiler. Of course, it's wise to bring up just in case. |

This is the Super Smash Bros. Brawl forum, created specifically for the purpose of spoiling the game at every available opportunity. There's going to be too much information for a single topic, but the newly written spoiler rules should help.
And I really don't think sig/avatar spoilers can be avoided or policed... although I do think they are a bad idea.
Unless you avoid the internet entirely, I don't see how anyone can avoid SSBB spoilers.
