Well I didn't so much mean where does the meme come from, I meant where is the original of that particular picture before Weegee was added?

I wish people would quit spreading 4chan's meme filth everywhere they go. It's getting on my nerves. Well, the best real world example is America. People (demostically) want America to get out of global affairs, that we police the world. To some extant, we must stop, but what people forget is that we are the big dogs of the world, both economically and militarily. We are (right now) the only Super Power left (confusion will come so explanation: Countries like Britain and Germany are world powers, still play major role, but are not OMG huge). So, naturally, we have to get involved in world affairs because it does involve us. 4chan is similar (but not exact). It is one of the biggest sites on the internet, and probably the largest message board. So, when a meme is created there, it travels all over the internet. "Over 9000" and "Shoop da Whoop", both memes used here, came from 4chan. It is innevidable, and almost anything that's funny (and widely known) comes from there. Tei the Spiffy:Sorry. I got lazy. That was how I got the image. Uncanged. Is there a way to change width and height here (in the image tag). If so, I'll shrink it.

I am afraid of it, or course uit was just an example. Short and sweet: America: Big Super power; influences world 4chan: Big message board: influences internet

Seeing is how this board is run by an Englishman and not an American, I'd say it's best to stay true to our traditions. ;D
In all seriousness, your analogy still doesn't mean it's OK to keep bringing in retarded and annoying memes to where they never really belonged, Smashchu. We already have our own little memes, like The Todd. Why should we follow a larger crowd? Whatever happened to being unique? We're liked the United Nintendo Nerds of Nintendo Database, not a bunch of brainless Anons.

It would happen regardless. Any meme no considered old by 4chan is still widely used across the internet. Shoop da Whoop is perhaps the best example. Of course, memes here develop like they do on 4chan. One person thought up something funny and everyone one catches on. The difference is we are not big enough to spread them across the interwebs. Of course, I'm not trying to spread it per say. I felt it was a good time to throw out a Weegee (for Luigi). One of my personal favorites BTW.

We don't see 4chan memes popping up all over the place; each time they've appeared has been well-timed and Smashchu seems capable of moderating himself with them. *shrug*

I don't know, do you think it's right to compare America to 4chan? 4chan is full of mindless idiots and spammers. That's not a very good comparison, as the majority of americans managed to re-elect George Bush.

So if 4chan is America, does that mean that Anonymous group is the FBI?
Or somekind of terrorist organisation
