There were 25 lost tracks, but all we have to go on are the filenames (which give us the series and a short description). Most of the suggestions given are simply guesses. I have made my own guesses based on my own research. They cross over in a few places. I also speculate on why the songs were removed. This info will appear on the bottom of the music page.
The tracks I downloaded came with the original track listing, an explanation of why that person thinks it's that song, and explains where each of the remixes came from (unless they had to be torn straight from the games).

I'm sorry, I didn't quite find your info. I ooked for NinDB's Brawl music cameo page, but it didn't quite explai what you're saying... My question is, are those 25 the only ones? If so, where did the one I posted in the first post come from? |

Those you posted are all "what if" songs made by a fan, and nothing to do with the Brawl tracks.
I haven't uploaded the new details yet. I've just added all the unlock methods alongside the missing tracks, but am looking at ways to better sort the information on the page before I upload all the new stuff.

Oh and I'll say this once, the removed forest song is very likely SMRPG. Why? Lemme link the SMRPG Arranged Soundtrack. gh.ffshrine.org/soundtracks/261If it was M&L no reason it'd fall through, this has a reason being Square's property. This has prolly been shown but yeah. |

The title track isn't "Beware the Forest's Mushrooms:", it's "Mushroom Forest". IIRC, that is also the title of a track in one of the Mario & Luigi tracks.

But the song from M&L in Brawl is snd_bgm_A10_MLRPG01 and is followed by snd_bgm_A11_MLRPG02 the fact that the song is not titled snd_bgm_A12_MLRPG03 leads some poeple to beleve that it is Beware the Forest Mushrooms. Though I'm not to sure about that. |

Ok, that makes a lot of sense. I'm disappointed we lost it, but it's not surprising since it's 2/3rd party. The others? No excuse, except maybe the New Age Retro Hippy music.

MGS2 main theme isn't in beyond a filename due to the song being very similar to an old Russian orchestra tune. It's no longer used to avoid problems.

Maybe the other cut Earthbound music was gonna be taken straight from the vocal Earthbound cd, like some of the Mother 3 tunes in Brawl were taken from Mother3+ etc.
Too bad the Earthbound one's copyrighted by Sony Music Records Inc.
