I've played the game a million different ways, nothing really works for me. Using the stylus with my right hand works for awhile... but that's it. Might help if I had a better stylus, something a bit thicker.

You can also use the thumb strap included with the DS. Personally I never had any problems playing the game using the directional pad. I couldn't use the D-pad. Holding down a button to run didn't feel right. Does anyone use the thumb strap? Everyone I know who has a DS didn't even attach it to the DS. I use that stupid thing all the time. Mostly just have it around my wrist so I won't drop it on the ground. (Not that drop my DS all the time. But someday I will, and I won't have to worry when that day comes.)

I use it for SM64DS and First Hunt. Basically, whenever there's an analogue function on the bottom screen.

I do use it to challenge myself. Imagine how do I use THAT to play Polarium...
but I don't use it, in normal case, with Mario 64 DS.

I've got the strap on there, and have attempted to use it with both SM64DS and MPH. I gave up using it with SM64 after a few minutes, and I don't play the demo enough to know which is better for me.
