Yeah, pages tend to go up with a little bit of information filtered from a Japanese site through a translator... so they end up terribly inaccurate until I play the game myself.
But being in the UK means that playing the game myself usually takes a long time after the Japanese release.
Masamune... why donnaya emailame!?

I hear most people in Europe have been importing Pikmin 2 from Japan this Summer after they found out the release was in October.
I should've imported it m'self, but it'd cost much more money, and my Action Replay Disc broke last Summer after it fell off the Big Screen TV.
....Oh, I'm going off topic, aren't I?

That's the power of ongoing conversation, my friend!
I don't really want to import games. I fancy myself as a UK collector, and so am fond of the idea of having a big collection of UK releases. Also, it's pigging difficult to get screenshots of imported games on my TV card... hence why there's no screens of Animal Crossing cameos.
An October release isn't that bad... I think it was originally going to be November, so they actually moved the release FORWARD.

I wish they made the release earlier here, my classes start up again 3 days after release.
*Starts mumbling "Just 2 more years until College...."* *Also wonders why his signature isn't showing up on Proboards' forums*
Ugh...

Okay, so the USA release is Augast? so shouldn't be in September in Europe? 'cause games usually take a month to release from USA to Europe.

I don't know how you arrived at that idea. It usually takes a lot longer than a month for games to reach Europe from the US. There is no 'usual' time frame.
But Nintendo Europe is trying to close the gap, so the game looks like it's coming out a little earlier than was originally thought.
In some cases, Europe gets games BEFORE America. I think just about every Wario Land game has hit these shores before America's.
