Which characters do you think people seem to use the most and the least?
Most Overused:
Sword characters. Nuff said.
Most Underused:
Donkey Kong
Really, nobody seems to be using him a lot. Even on the previous two games.

In my experiences, and I will break this down by game:
64
Overused: Kirby, Pikachu, Fox
Underused: DK, Yoshi
Melee
Overused: Fox, Falco, Peach, Marth, Roy, Samus, Sheik
Underused: DK, Yoshi, Zelda, Ice Climbers
Brawl
Overused: Snake, Sonic, Fox, Falco, Dedede, Olimar, Ike, Toon Link, Pit, Wolf, Zelda
Underused: DK, Yoshi, Mario, Samus, Pokemon Trainer, ROB
As far as I've experienced, the only characters to stay really overused are the "space animals," while DK and Yoshi are ALWAYS unpopular. Zelda is the only character to make the jump from under to overused, while Samus and Mario were very severely nerfed to the point of being underused in Brawl.

What would cause Mario to go underused in Brawl? Most people I've played against in tourneys or otherwise, or anybody you talk to online, absolutely cannot stand him in Brawl. He gained some of the Doc Mario power, but FLUDD and his Final Smash are utter crap. He's very very underused in Brawl. |

I can understand his FLUDD being quite useless (Edgeguarding?!), but I don't know about his Final Smash. It seems to work everytime I use it as him. Just have to get in the right area to do it.

Swedishdolphin it took you 3 years!? I've only been here a year and got 542. But then again I didn't see you around much last year.........did I? I reckon nobody likes peach in brawl. Because I was looking at my records and my loneiest character was Peach. Her final smash is bad, her only affective special move is her side B. I just don't find her good. As I always use Samus, Yoshi and D.K. So they wouldn't be the worst. Still though, Sonic, Ganon, C. Falcon and Meta Knight are my favorites. |

(even though his FS is pretty rubbish) Apart from DK, the other ones I use regularly are: Mr G&W, Peach, Luigi, Ice Climbers and Ike. As for underused, I'd guess they'd be ROB, Olimar, Sonic, Snake and Lucas |

Yeah, I love Donkey Kong. SLAP! His reactions do seem to be slower than they were in Melee though. SLAP!

I use Luigi, Marth, Solid Snake, Meta Knight, Pit, and R.O.B. the most in Brawl. Meta's the one I used that too many use so I often try to use Luigi, Snake and Marth. Best with Marth and Snake, I'd say.
I love using everybody though. Donkey Kong was one of my favorites in Melee.

My loneliest character is Olimar. He can't fight the only thing you can do with him is jumping around dodging the others attacks and wait for them to make a big mistake.
