Call me crazy, but I think Wario is the most popular of the WarioWare crew.

Or at least he thinks he is.

Yeah Wario is so popular he isn't even considered part of it.

Wait wait wait, now I got it...
A whole show for 9-Volt and 18-Volt which will (obviously) be 100% Nintendo-related.
I suppose it would be kind of an informative show on all things Nintendo, kind of a "history" thingy.

Why would there need to be a show like that, and why are you so hell bent on giving a WarioWare character a spin-off show when the chances of Wario getting one in the first place are already slim enough as it is?

And even then, the chances for animated series for other series are already that slim.
We've all seen much of their Japanese commercials (namely the Yoshi's Island ones). If they can pull off stuff like this, then what could possibly be stopping them from going all-out with them with TV series?

That's what I'd like to know, but being so quick to come up with a spin off for one is totally unnecessary, especially when you can't even come up with a good idea for the premise.

The way he's talking, it seems not like a spin-off, but just each character has there own part of the show. Is that good enough for you?

That isn't what he was talking about, and having about 12 different shows in one is a bit impossible unless was a variety show a la Animaniacs.

WarioWare as a variety show would make a lot more sense than most of what I've read here so far

I could imagine the shorts being just like the openings and closings of each character's "chapter" from a standard WarioWare game.
Ideally I'd like Wario to just have his own show period, but if it had to specifically be based on WarioWare, then this would do the trick. The game is practically already an animated variety show!

There we go. Now that Excessive Poster Game Master pointed it out, I can see that kind of show working for WarioWare. Now that's better.
And still, they should definitely get to fleshing out the animations from their Japanese commercials (Yoshi's Island, etc.). What's stopping them from doing so is beyond me. Or maybe this is one of those moments where Nintendo and logic don't seem to get together right?

I'd still say that it's Mona who's the most popular among the WarioWare crew. I may be wrong though...But a show for her can have some potential to be worth it. I found something what seems to be votings for WarioWare characters on a Japanese WarioWare/Made in Wario fansite. The first voting says that Ashley got 131 votes (first place) and Mona got 37 votes (third place). During the second voting, there were 155 votes for Ashley (first place again) and 28 for Mona (fourth place). So I still think that Ashley is the most popular. But of course, Wario is the most well-known of them all, but I only wanted to refer to characters that originated from the WarioWare series.
