I decided to extend to timeline to Halloween. Spoooooky!!! Thank you, I won't be able to colour Luigi until the former deadline.  (yes, I did the pencil drawings, so just you know I work on it) |

Hey KC, that's awesome. I can see what you're trying to do with the lineart, and I can also see why you think it's not quite working... it's just one simple thing - it's where the thick lines cross over colours. It's either better to just pick one colour for the thicker outline, or to draw the different-coloured elements with their own thick lines (which is how I tend to do it).
But it's awesome anyway, and with a little tweaking (the most obvious bit around the tongue) it would be uber-awesome ;D

Yeah, originally the outline was all that greeny colour, but when it got to the crown and tongue it looked a little strange. Not that it looks much better now, mind.  And Teev, a lot of those scratches in the crown started off as left-over sketch lines. I decided to ink them too, 'cause it looked pretty cool having the crown all beat-up and old. Not sure how convincing that ended up, though. It looked better in sketch form... Thanks guys. ;D EDIT: Made a couple of little changes to it. Might need a refresh if you looked already. |
