And I just started again because I didn't know what to do back then and lost my save file. Generally, the rule is don't spoil something for about 6 months after release. After 7 years (and one sequel) it's generally assumed everyone who is going to play it has. Hell, Mother 3 was gloriously spoiled in Smash Bros., and that's only a couple years old. I envisaged it as a general Nintendo Wars stage, referencing various things from throughout the series. In my mind's eye, the planes are orange and blue, as Orange Star and Blue Moon have been rivals since the Famicom Thinking about it, if this stage could cope with more gimmicks without exploding, they could even fly through a "fog of war" where only a limited area around the characters is visible (especially dangeous when jumping from plane to plane!) ;D

I'm undecided whether I'll vote at all, but I must say Smashchu's idea is very creative.
I have a special fondness for Walrus' stage, too, because I remember submitting a similar idea somewhere else. It included Lynels in the Dark World (because they were in Zelda 1, too, making them more noticeable). And, of course, it should have a better Dark World arrangement than the one in Brawl! I don't like Brawl's, either (fortunately, we got Hidden Mountain & Forest).
Sadly, I never gave Golden Sun enough priority in my list of GBA games to play, so I can't really vote for Venus Lighthouse.
And Macbeth is very memorable, but I'd rather play the newer Star Fox games before picking something from the only 2 Star Fox games I've played.

As much as I love Zelda ALTTP, I voted Chaotic Seas simply because the idea of fighting on planes like in Big Blue sounds fun! I think its time SSB4 had a new stage similar to Big Blue but is from another franchise.

I agree. People may have complained that it was just another "moving gimmicky" stage when Melee came out, but I can honestly say Big Blue is one of my favourite stages. Huge platforms, tiny platforms, constantly shifting platforms - it's all good.

Right, I have added all the music for these entries as well. Because I'm in a musical mood

I'm afraid you're stuck with the entry you posted originally. Doesn't matter anyway - chances are I would have to use one of your other songs if you win anyway... can't imagine the Disaster soundtrack is too easy to get hold of just yet

I also like the sound of the Chaotic Seas stage as well. It's very original. Just one question though, which AW game is it set in? It has "Duster" planes in it which only appeared in AW:DoR/DC or is it just a combernation of all the AW games? Just a combination of them. No one set game, although it would probably reflect the more cartoony games. Also, Fry, when does the voting close?

As the votes are tailing off, I figure I will either close them Friday or Saturday. That way I can spend some of the weekend working on the prizes ;D

Very cool ideas! I should visit the Smash Bros board more often!
The Macbeth stage is an awesome idea, a return to the Starfox glory years - I loved that level! You could be jumping over low hanging bridges and smashing passing bad guys for items inside, and when you get to the Kite-boss, you could ride it up to where Slippy and co are circling overhead!
The Advance Wars one is also packed full of potential! Maybe the aircraft would dip slighty with the added weight when you jump on, and using this to avoid shots you could even effect the outcome of battle!
I'm keeping it secret who I voted for, but it's one of these!

I'm going with the Mario Toy Factory here.
On a side note: does anyone else find it rather ironic how Snake's stage is available from the start when he himself is hidden?

I'm going with the Mario Toy Factory here. On a side note: does anyone else find it rather ironic how Snake's stage is available from the start when he himself is hidden? He wasn't really that hidden, he was shown along with all the other playable character on the Smash Bros Dojo site and he (and Sonic) are also on the back of the game's box and in the intro video. Personally I find it werid in the intro video that the clip of Sonic is shown before the clip of Snake. Shouldn't Snake be shown first because he was in the game before Sonic?
