King Boo is already a different colour to regular Boos, though. Regular Boos are white, King Boo has a green tint.

Still looked better than blue... yours looks like a raindrop.  When you say it's a reference to Big Boo, I'm assuming you actually mean Big Blue Boo, the secret boss from Mario World? Because regular Big Boos are the same colour as regular Boos... but even Big Blue Boo was only tinted blue, not actually completely blue. He's a whitish shade of blue.  Having a ghost as dark a shade as you have King Boo there stops him looking like a ghost at all. He just looks... like a water monster. |

Apparently, there was a Big Boo of a blue shade in Mario Party 4, simply known as Big Boo. That was the one I had in mind. Too dark a shade of blue, it seems here? No offense (and being honest), but you really do come off as sounding rather over-the-top about most things. I'm pretty sure you're aware of that already, though. |

Hmm... I have Mario Party 4, but I don't remember that. Haven't played in years, though. I'm not sure what you mean by "over-the-top", but I think you're being oversensitive. One thing I've noticed about you, not just from talking to you, but reading your responses to other peoples' critiques of your work, is that you don't take criticism well. You tend to either ignore it and pretend it never happened, or try to justify the problem without actually dealing with it. You don't always do it, I have seen you take peoples' suggestions a bunch of times, like in your game ideas thread. I'm not trying to attack your ideas, I'm just throwing in ideas that I think would improve your work. You've improved a lot since you started doing this, but even the greatest artists have room for improvement, and everyone benefits from creative input from other artists. That's why video games have such large design teams!  |

Nice pics. I gotta ask whether you have any plans to do punch-out characters and whether you'll do the classics or their more modern appearances (eg Super Macho Man with gold tooth, tan, gray pony-tail or the original NES sprite (not from ringside pic) where he has black long hair with paler skin.)?

Hmmmmmmm. I understand this completely now. When it's something that I pretty much know of where I've gone wrong, it's not too bad and I take anything else into account. But when it's something of a far more trivial nature (such as many of the things that people here debate about a lot), things just get way too complicated from there (I even had to give up on my ideal Smash Bros., because it's....you know, too much to get through). The whole game ideas thing was just a way of showing off what it is I can come up with for future games. I didn't mind if anyone read them or not, just as long as I put them up, and that was plenty. You haven't seen my previous collection I did of these. And you're better off not seeing anything older of it.  Even now, these aren't really the greatest, I'll admit, but still a whole lot better than before. Regiwi, I'm not entirely familiar with Punch-Out myself, sorry about that. But you know, you can think of this as some sort of "dream trophy collection" for another Smash Bros. game. |

Sure, well the official site has the art of all the fighters, so if you ever do do it there's art there you can use as reference.
EDIT: Also, I don't think you've done any of the Koopalings yet (well other than Bowser jr) any plans to do them? A group pic with them all beating the snot out of each other would be cool.

I used to not be so interested in them, and (believe it or not) I actually liked Bowser Jr. more. BUT, thanks to New SMB Wii, my interest in them is slowly being rejuvenated. Just gotta wait for those artworks of them and they're all set.  SalvatoreI love this guy. |
