Miyamoto himself said that SSB DS is a possibility. So that gets my ticket for online. F-Zero, Star Fox, and Custom Robo also seem good for online.

I'm pretty sure that Custom Robo DS and the next Zelda (whether Four Swords or not) are confirmed to be online, as is Mario Basketball. I'm guessing most future DS games will be online somehow.

Probably, but you never know. Like Fire Emblem isn't really made for multiplayer, hence it'll probably only have LAN.

If Fire Emblem has LAN whats stopping it from having that exact same mode online?

Well, the cost. It costs money to make a game online, and FE isn't marketed for multi.

I forsee a problem with a password forum: time differences.
Player One might say to Player Two: Lets play together at 7.00pm, but if they live in different time zones, which 7.00 do they go with? And you can't just say on the forum: Lets play now, see you in 5 mins, because Player Two may not see this message until the next day, unless they are constantly on the alert.
What we need is a big forum clock, perhaps stuck onto the main forum page, that says the same time whatever timezone you're in. So then Player One could say: Tommorow, 7.00pm forum time, be there.

Or hey, we could just meet up on AIM or MSN or something ;D
Edit Or maybe it's time for a NinDB chatroom? Hmm...

A chatroom would be cool, but I don't think we need to worry to much about not having one. Can't we just say, "Let's play at 7:00 (Enter timezone here)"?

Hey, if I'm the boss do I get to decide the standard timezone we use? I hate working it out... so the universal standard will be GMT.
Oh, and what a coincidence... that's the time in ENGLAND too! Well, I suppose that serves us right for INVENTING TIME! ;D We Rule!!

Well um, America invented DST... No wonder everyone hates us.
In my experience, chatrooms for websites never last long.

Yeah, but chatrooms for websites could be handy for the purposes of online gaming.
