@parrothead: It's okay to love your pets, animals you've grown close to.
But would you jump in the middle of the road to protect a squirrel from being hit by a car? Ofcourse not! Well that's the kind of stuff that happens on the show these days. Crazy!

When I heard about Brock opening his eyes in a recent episode, it made me think of three funny things about him: Number one: Kung Fu Man (M.U.G.E.N) = Brock (Pokemon anime)? Number two: Brock sings?Number three: Donuts VS. Riceballs (well, not much anything to do with Brock other than referring to what they're eating.) @parrothead: It's okay to love your pets, animals you've grown close to. But would you jump in the middle of the road to protect a squirrel from being hit by a car? Ofcourse not! Well that's the kind of stuff that happens on the show these days. Crazy! Me and my brother had Bradley and Spud before the Pokemon series was born. One of the worst things to run over would be skunks, whether they are dead or alive. They make your car tires stink for days.

The best thing about the earlier Pokemon games was how disturbing they were. Here are a couple instances that come to mind... Cubone wearing the skull of its dead mom *shudders* Butterfree dying after they mate... Haunter going into people's dreams and scaring them to death... The story of a Hypno kidnapping a child so it could constantly eat happy dreams... Crazy stuff... The Butterfree one is actually a myth. People say it was said in the Japanese version, but it wasn't. And Ash's Butterfree was even shown flying with its mate in a fairly recent Japanese opening sequence. But, speaking of Hypno, have you ever seen this shirt? Yes, it's official merchandise.

It's one of the Pokémon 151 series they started in Japan last year. Basically, a set of shirts aimed at the older fans. They're awesome, but only a few have been made so far. The official site for them seems to be down now, though... I hope they're still going.

Quite an amazing find here: aminako.deviantart.com/art/Urhus-Region-Pokedex-81939705This needs to be the fifth gen. From the look of it, they really put a lot of thought and such into them. One of those rare instances where fan creations really would work well officially. If only Nintendo and the Pokemon Company saw to this. If only Nintendo saw to some (key word) fan ideas, for that matter.

It looks official in that the designs are wierder than ever, with the names being equally hard to figure out hot to pronounce correctly.

Hen (like I said before, my brother named her "Spud", not only because he saw a bag of potatoes, but also because her size was equal to one. Looking at Pikachu felt the same way as looking at Spud, because of how similar they look and sound.) ;D

The great thing about Pokemon was that they design them to be unique and recognizable... Although 3rd/ 4th gen legendaries lack that quality (especially the Regis) the rest of the litter had distinct loveable traits. Those Pokemon up there are too busy. Look at the Lapras evolution, WAY to much going on right there. Pokemon need to be more simple looking, those are the ones we fall in love with.

Enough with the extra evolutions! Are there any non-Legendary Pokemon that have only one or two evolutions? On a related topic, are there any with 4?
I'm surprised there aren't any baby versions of Eevee (or are there?)
OK, could someone clear up some rumors? In the episode "Holy Matrimony", does Meowth really say something along the lines of "there's some weird-looking gym machines down in the basement" referring to torture instruments that Jessibelle own?

There are plenty of Pokemon with no evolutions and there are no 4th stage evolutions.
...yet?

Someone else smited me for some unknown and cruel reason. At least tell me why... I suggest asking that question in this thread. Actually, that's the same thread where Fry told us nobody has to announce why karma is given or taken away. A pre-evolved form of Eevee has never been expected as much as newer evolved forms of other types. Sure, it may exist, but why is it any likely? And I don't understand what the rumor says. There sure are actual gym machines in the basement, not torture devices.
