Already mentioned in the 3rd partyy announcement thread, but I think it deserves it's own thread to discuss the mystery. A weird teaser from Sega is all we have to go on about this game, what do you make of it? sega.jp/project_ringo/Apparently we'll learn more on the 24th of February.

After no more than 2 minutes of research, I found out that Ringo is Japanese for apple.
So, yeah... still don't know what to make of this.

Ooh! Maybe it's a Beatles drumming simulation!
...I know, that sucked.

Reminds me of the Puyo Fever style. In fact, if you asked me to name specific characters, I'd say it looks like a cross between Amitie and Raffine.
Watch the reveal make me look like an idiot.

It's not Sonic. I get the feeling this might be the secret project Prope is supposed to be working on.

Ooo, this looks promising! I'm glad the 24th is only five days off, because I can't wait to see if Sega has a gem for us. (At least, I hope they do, they've been kinda lackluster lately. I'd like to be proven wrong and see Project Ringo as a winner.)

Site's been updated slightly! The video has changed slightly to include a bunch of math equations, which each add up to 247. The video ends with "WHAT MEANS 247?" and the next update's on March 12.
Oh, and a bit of japanese text has been added under the video, titled "What is Project RINGO?" Someone get translating that answer quick! I can see one english word in that pile of japanese, and it's "web".

Here's what I heard.
Ringo means apple in Japanese. 247 is 24/7. Yup.
