Yep, "You must recover" was June 6. Crappiest update there was, and as I said, it surprised me because, honestly, "That was it?"

LOL totally understandable. Most of us already knew how to recover. What makes recovering in Brawl any different from in Melee and SSB?  I suspect that update was for people who haven't played Smash before. |

I don't know what to say about that post. It's just like any ordinary gameplay-related post to me.
I wasn't introduced of even midair jump before SSB64. So naturally this post is a necessary one for new players.

I know, but as someone who has played all three games and who has never met anyone who'd never heard of Smash Bros. at the time (I did meet one person, but this was a month ago,) it seemed like a cop-out to me. Time made it feel worse as there were few similar updates.

Now that the Dojo updates have been a long way gone, any annoyance I felt about YOU MUST REKOVARRR LOLOLOL has dissipated. It serves a purpose for new players (because believe it or not, there are people who have not played SSB before Brawl), so it's nothing really worth getting panties bunched over.
Especially as the update is almost two years old by now. XD

Well yeah NOW. At the time, though, it was a disappointment. Now it's just a worthless speed-bump for the Rockin' Train of Awesomeness.
