Hello, all! Since my fanfiction and drawn art tend to fall flat when I post them here, I figure I'll hook y'all up with something that seems to be a bit more popular. ;D See, lately I've been working with Super Sculpy, which is this awesome clay that you can bake in the oven - just as good as regular clay without the fuss of a kiln! Here's the first two I've done so far, and I've got more in the works: This guy is actually pretty old; I made the sculpture four years ago and I've only recently painted and finished it. ARF ARF ARFSo I've also taken the liberty of putting that Chain Chomp into my favorite Chain Chomp-related level in all the Mario Games: Welcome to Bob-Omb Battlefield!Aaaaand here's my newest one, a Waddle Doo. Waddle Doo, Waddle Don't

Wow, the bottom let picture in the Waddle Doo sculpture looks like it was taken fom an actual game! In all seriousness, the sculptures remind me of some aincient japanese sculptor who taught of the beauty of un-evenness...

Thank you...? I'm not entirely sure how to take that. XD
But symmetry is for losers, in any case. :B

I tried sculpting once but... well things kept falling apart.

Hey, thanks everyone ;D I'm thrilled that y'all like them!
Koopaul, it's really a matter of what clay you use. If you're going for Craft Store Crap, then it doesn't really hold together that well. I use Sculpy, which is a more artist-y clay, so it's easier to mold and won't fall apart...but by the same token, it's expensive as hell ^^

Those are awesome! Really love the Waddle Doo one. ;D Hey, next time, can you get some pictures before they're painted, too? I'm interested to see some in-progress ones.

Your wish is my "eh, maybe I'll do it," Kchu ;D I have some WIP Kirby sculptures, and the Meta Knight one hasn't been painted yet; it's a labor of love and I'm waiting for the right time. I only have to add the trim to one glove and some way to hold a cape in place on his back. A cape which will likely be made from an old shirt unless I can find something better. teisama.deviantart.com/art/Sculpey-WIP-dump-128542045

I don't recall getting any messages on my dA account about this.
Must've missed it in your grand ocean of stamps, TEi. I got more than 40 deviation notices for those.

He may have put them into his scraps, which doesn't pop up as a notice, if I recall.
