HELLO! So, it's a touch early for some of you, a touch late for others (I myself get in the spirit on the first of November, but I know people who can't get into it until late November or even halfway into December.) I know my Christmas station starts up around 11-1. Anyways. Here's the scoop: It's Christmas time almost, so tell this here elf, this one right here, what you want for Christmas. Or if Christmas isn't your bag, what you want for whatever IS your bag. I'm not judging. Or, alternatively, Nintendo-related festivities. Hence the video, which, by the way, is AWESOME. For those wondering, it's called "O Stormy Night." YouTube it. NAO. OH! I almost forgetted. I want a certain jolly fat guy to come crawling down my (ahem...nonexistant) chimney to lay New Super Mario Bros. unner mah tree. Still haven't played it and I WANT TO SO BAD IT'S DRIVING ME MAD. That and Punch-Out Wii.

Oh, I got excited about Christmas halfway through October when I had to design the Christmas card for work I can't wait for NSMBWii though, so I'm getting that this week. No idea what to ask for this year! Spirit Tracks, probably!

On my xmas list this year: New Super Mario Bros. Wii Mario + Luigi 3 Zelda Spirit Tracks
We have a family tradition where no-one's allowed to buy themselves anything from October to December, so we'll have a nice easy BIG christmas list.

I can't stop myself buying Mario or Zelda games... although I might hold off Spirit Tracks until Christmas, as Mario should keep me busy for a while (and if not, I'm still playing through Wario Land: Shake It, trying to complete the treasures and bonuses). Can anyone think of anything else? Or it'll be yet another Wii Points Christmas

I picked up NSMBW, but I haven't played it yet. I couldn't decide if I should play it now or wait until Xmas/birthday. But to be honest, I'm just not in love with Mario like I used to be. I think I want to be, and that's why I bought it, but the fact that I'm just not interested enough to want to play it right now has made me consider returning it to the store. I was also interested in Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, but the "shaky cam" that it uses is a real turn-off. Aside from making me nauseous, it's a really cheap thing to add to a light gun game. So instead, I might get House of the Dead: Overkill. It has a steady viewpoint, it only costs $20 now, and it's an actual light gun series, and not a survival-horror game that was turned into a light gun game just because it's on the Wii. And then there's FFCC: The Crystal Bearers, but that doesn't come out until the day after Xmas.

lol im so cool and edgy xDDDDDDDDDDDD On topic; I can't really celebrate Christmas lol. I'm atheist, and it's a religious holiday, so... Instead, mother'll prolly sneak me like 20 dollars when nobody's looking; she's cool like that. C:

I don't expect much of anything for Christmas these days especially on the video game front. For my last birthday, my sister got me a gift card for GameStop. If that happens again on Christmas, it's going to go towards Spirit Tracks or Mario & Luigi 3, which I still haven't played.
Also, I thought I'd post some Nintendo/Christmas music as well. Rather than go with the obvious choice, here's something a bit more obscure. Santa is Dead was part of Bound Together, a project remixing the music of Earthbound. Check it out:

I'm not really asking for much for Christmas this year, as my family needs the money more than I need presents, and I'd really be happier if they used it for necessities. XD But I have been treating myself to goodies from the official Valve store, including Ellis' Bull Shifters tee-shirt, and a shirt of things Francis hates (both from Left 4 Dead).
Shrikeswind, that is a fscking awesome song and I need an MP3 of it. Do you know where I could find one, or who the original artist is? (The guy who posted the vid says he didn't make it.)

Aardman studios have been making Flipnote Studio animations leading up to Christmas. There lastest one ends up being a (very good) ad for the DSi itself. DSi ad . . . made using a DSi.EDIT: After TEi brought it up. The Valve store is indeed awesome. Check out them L4D/L4D2/TF2 christmas cards. And I want me one of those TF2 Sniper shirts. Also looks like they have some of them plush Companion Cubes as well . . . But in terms of games I want . . . I know Beyond Good & Evil is just $9.99 on Steam. (Why has no gaming website that complains about the game not selling enough copies ever mentioned this?) Wii Fit Plus possibly? Wii Sports Resort? There are so many good Wii games I've yet to get . . . And then there's VC and WiiWare . . .

I've been loving the Aardman animations, and downloading them regularly! The WiiWare/DSi Ware event I covered for Nintendo World Report gave us a preview of the first one, which provided an uproar of laughter from the assembled journos.
Everybody loves Aardman! And cheeeeeese, Gromit!

Shariq Ansari's the artist. You can find an MP3 here.

As someone who champions this game, I'll happily post this information somewhere on my site. Anywho, I celebrate Christmas not so much a religious holiday (since I'm agnostic) but more as a family day. It has its religious purpose, of course, but I don't need that aspect to make the season special. As for presents, my wife and I bought each other a few things, but we couldn't go all out this year for everyone, so we made recipe books for my parents, her parents, and her sister, and other misc. gifts for our other family members. I picked up Madworld, Deadly Creatures, Avalon Code and Exit DS for $61 or so, plus a little Lakitu figure and some hot cocoa. So I'll be happy.
