Why is this place quiet? We all have our own reason, but seeing that it's December now, I'd say schoolwork is a major reason. That applies to me too; I'm having exams.

There are other reasons for me though: Namely, the lack of topics good for me to talk on. Whenever things are discussed here, it's either games I have bought or beaten long ago (JP/NA/EU/AU release date difference) or games I'm not interested in (Pokémon, 3D Metroid...). On things I do have interested in, only part of those (Mario main and Kirby, for example) are widely discussed here. I tend to find few people have interest in other games I like (non-Kaga Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, maybe Rhythm Heaven and some individual games - in case of the first two, there are other places dedicated to them).

Right now, I still always visit this place, but for most of the time, I don't have much to post.

Good to hear you have a job, WC - even if it is just a holdover.

As for me...it's jointly the fact that I'm busy as sin with my own holiday job and the fact that, well, nobody was posting anything I could really reply to. >_> Just to give you all an idea: have you ever received Christmas/Channukah/Kwanzaa/Lovecraftian Horror Day presents through the mail? Not checks, but actual presents.

I'm the dude making the sale to have those packages sent out. I'm also the dude packing that all up. Yeah, it's busy.

Granted, I'm only pulling part time, but it's a second job; every weekday, when I'm done with my original job, I climb into my car and drive straight to the packing and shipping job. Every. Weekday. And soon I'll probably be working Saturdays as it gets busier XD

I may have a job in books following the holiday season at a different used book shop in my college town. That is very exciting. I hope it follows through!

Argh. This is the longest hiatus I've had on any website thus far. I promise I'll try to stay on this time. I guess I've had a more important thing (or person) to focus on.
