I'll be doing my Xenoblade letters this weekend - I'm going all out on them, so I'll post them up as I get them done.

Dunno if it's even worth mentioning, but NoE is showing both The Last Story and Pandora's Tower at the Japan Expo in Paris. I'd like to think this means a localized version of Pandora is coming, but as it is a Japan centric event, I'm not holding my breath. It may be a Japan centric event, but I find it intriguing that NoE is the one showing the games. I have high hopes for the end of the Wii's life in Europe! Not that I've played any of these games, so can't guarantee I'll enjoy them

Rumor time! Given to OR from a source inside Nintendo.
- American localization of Xenoblade is complete - The Last Story is currently being translated to English for an American release - no word on Pandora’s Tower localization - Redmond, WA branch of NoA has been working with other branches to bring Xenoblade and The Last Story to North America - NSTC version of Xenoblade was completed just over a month ago - Testing for the PAL and NSTC versions of The Last Story are allegedly beginning in around a month

If true, that rumor is in line with what Leon has told us in the past. Plus, it's brilliant marketing on NoA's part. Make fans beg for something you're going to give them anyway, and when you do, you'll come out like a hero, and make it look like you were actually listening to them. I'm going to start doing that as a policy from now on. I'm sure no one will think I'm acting like a pompous jerk or anything.

Well its Pandora's Tower I'm actually most interested in, so I hope that one comes out as well.

Well the big problem is that the poor economy is throwing a spanner into the mix. As the dollar weakens, investors back in Japan are losing their shirts over the currency conversions, and pressuring Nintendo to lighten their business over seas. Of course, these are only a few investors with only the power to terrify others, but they still create a lot of noise.
In other related news, Monolith Soft has opened a new branch in Kyoto. The purpose of this studio is to work closer with Nintendo and make development for efficient.
