005. CordeliaThe final boss of Panel de Pon. I thought she was a super-powerful, evil goddess or something. Turns out she's not scary at all, but I finished the art before finding that out. Damn you Young Horsetail!! ;D I have since been dropping ones that don't make the scary grade.

Hm, watching you tackle scary enemies (plus Dead Space) is making me think about resurrecting my old "scary baddie" collection again. I think I could do a few of them better now. Thanks for inspiring me, Fry!

* Stabbed* I apologise for the unnecessary work Fry... (-i,i-);;; I guess I wasn't coming up with anything truly scary, instead I had thought something more of a "creepy"... (-;_;-) But I found her kinda "disturbing". She reeks of that to me, maybe since I had hard time clearing that. Even my bros found her creepy and unsettling, particularly due her music. I'll thus thank you for taking my suggestion on consideration. I really appreciate it. (-ivi-) To make up for it now, I'll suggest replacing Achi for Missingno. Just saying, back when I discovered him in Blue, he/she/it/ made me become scared of glitches. And broke my game once! That unpredictable, disturbing son of a bitch!!!! Really, the forms he takes in are scary, particularly that GHOST form, not to mention those damn skeleton sprites. What is he, anyway?! The battles will be so freaking unpredictable when battling against him. And if ya catch him, the sequences will be horrifying. Really, this guy must make it to the Nintober fest. He's an icon for all the PKMN glitches we all know today. I want to see your take on him. (-lvl-) So you can take out Achi and replace her with Missingno for me, okay?

I was aware that some choices were scary for individual people thanks to how they played the game. Those choices have been slowly weeded out to make way for properly creepy monsters.
Hey, at least you got one in there, even if I bitched about it ;D

Must say I love what you have done so far! I love your art style, simple but effective.
I saw on deviantart that you have opened up some spaces. If you want something from a newer game, there are some pretty scary monsters towards the end of Xenoblade. I don't want to spoil the game if you haven't reached it yet, but a type of monster known as Obart has a quite horrifying appearance. You can find videos on youtube, but they are likely filled with spoilers, so be carefull!

I'm pretty immune to spoilers, and the chances of me getting to the end of Xenoblade seem unlikely, given my RPG track record.
Thanks for the heads up though! I'll check 'em out!

I just got a Metroid hat in StreetPass Quest, and that left me wondering who would put a life-sucking Metroid on their head. That hat should have been used in conjunction with Samus's helmet for added drama.
Metroids left me the biggest impression in Metroid Prime Hunters: First Hunt. They just kind of show up out of nowhere and deplete your HP.
Replacement, huh? I've seen some creepy scenarios, but characters in particular? I'd say Dark Matter, bu that's already there...
Manfroy from Fire Emblem: Thracia 776?

The problem with Manfroy is that there is nothing visually scary or creepy about him. He's just an old man in a robe. His actions is what makes him disturbing, and that can't be properly shown in pictures like these.

Indeed. Think of it more like a monster mash. The first few include some that are scary more for the memories they conjure in gamers, but the majority will be horrible monsters.

Ah.
Elder Princess Shroob. That's something I'll yell scary by just a look. Upon reading the story of the Shroobs, I'd say they managed to bring terror to Mario even better than Super Paper Mario did.
Not a fan of non-IntSys Mario dark stuff, I can say I don't regret skipping M&L2.

Not a fan of non-IntSys Mario dark stuff, I can say I don't regret skipping M&L2. It was still a good game. Shame that nothing in it aside from the Ice Flower appears in later games.

Hmm... Draco Zombie in swamp? Looks far better than the in-game sprite, which looks like a pile of rubbish ready to be sent to a landfill.
