I don't know about you, but I feel pretty confident with Eiji Aonuma being in charge of Zelda (which he has been for more than 10 years already).
And Tekashi Tezuka's Mario games have done pretty well, too.
Point being that Miyamoto has already passed a lot of things on to other people.

IIRC, the Mario series has also been handled more by Yoshiaki Koizumi lately. You're right though, Miyamoto has already passed the torch for Mario and Zelda, and they're still doing just fine.
