Hm. Maybe Sakurai is pissed at the West for leaking the roster? That's why we didn't get this trailer?

I guess Shulk would be one of my favorite picks, because I don't hear him much. However, his origin looks popular to diehard RPG fans that grew up with Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, EarthBound, Final Fantasy VI and VII and a few others.

Shulk looks so goofy in that trailer when HE'S FEELING IT.
Ingame model's great though. Lots of different 'stances' to juggle with too, really want to try him out.
And they actually added his swimming trunks outfit, ha.

He looks like Roxas from Kingdom Hearts. 14-year-old me would've been ecstatic to see this guy, but I'm not 14 anymore. I guess if you've ever wanted to see a KH character in Smash or something close to it, you're in luck. I guess I'd me more okay with him if I had gotten what I wanted to see.

Anyways, Shulk's Australian, huh? That's sorta neat. Who was that at the end of his trailer, Eggman or a Xenoblade character?

I don't know why it would be Eggman. It seems it was some sort of villain from Xenoblade who also happens to be voiced by Mike Pollock (...I think that was Mike Pollock...).

All the voice actors for Xenoblade were British because it was localized by NoE. I almost hope that X is also filled with cheesy British voice acting.

Is nice to see Shulk in there, Smash didn´t had any traditional JRPG protagonist so he fills the niche, also I love that he keeps his British voice. The monster at the end of Xenoblade is Metalface, the first boss (and recurring antagonist) of Xenoblade.

^ Where did this art come from? It looks like it could be official but it can't be . . . Right? Now onto Shulk Reyn time! Little saddened, that he aint part of Shulk's final smash, but I'm happy with the " it's ____ time" trailer quote. Apparently the Japanese voice actor for Captain Falcon and Dunban are the same, so that might be the reason why he was used.
