I intend to be lenient on casual swearing here, but I've just been playing with the swear controls. Some words are properly banned as they are offensive. But feel free to say ass and crap, just in a nice way.
You will notice that swearing will take on new forms if you try it... such as motherfucking shithead and kiss my ass.
Do not say the N word. I ain't kiddin'...

So tempted to try...
Edit: Just to clarify, I am tempted to try them just to see what the filters makes them, not because I'm some kind of idiot that likes to use swears or just to be an idiot in general.
BTW the N-word's filter is very funny, not in the sense that its meant to be but I would love to see some fascist try to use it.
I remember back when I used to go to this other website's forum and they had a filter so when ever you used more than one exclamation point it would put in "I am an idiot". Good times.

Psst... Anubis... I don't remember saying the quote in your footer. When did I say that and what was the context?

Hi, I'm new here... (not new to forums in general, though)
No bad swearing... I think I can handle that, but I have no idea what the "N-word" is, so I'll just stop using all words starting with "N", just to be safe... ;D

You know the one... that word certain bigots use to condescend people of a certain ethnic lineage.
Most other N words that might be rude are fine... like newbie and nobcheddar *chortle*.

Oh, gotcha - don't worry, I'm not a racist, so there won't be a problem from me - I'm an Ethnic, but not that kind (actually a Greek), so I know what racism is like, and it isn't cool, so you won't get it from me.
OK then...

Well... we're all "ethnic". My ethnicity is British. Tally-ho wot-wot.

I was in England at the beginning of the year - it was freezing and cold and miserable - I loved it there - I like winter a lot, so it was very cool (literally!)
Just thought I'd add that, seeing as you're English and all...

Yeah, not when it's the middle of June and you still have to wear a coat and jacket it's not But I love the place really. We have crappy weather, and everyone moans about everything. I'm right at home! ;D

This topic is misleading, as if you're saying that "Man guys, swearing rules! I wanna do it all the time!"
*wonders if the censored words are british or american swear words*

Well, I've adapted the list a little. That three-letter F word Americans use to describe people of a certain sexuality? Well over here it means "cigarette", so if someone uses it (like I might) then it will correct me to avoid confusion, as well as anyone else who makes the same mistake (chortle).
Same goes for that longer F word with two Gs. Over here that has nothing to do with sexuality either. It means a kind of clotted meatball and breadcrumbs. So it will correct that as well.
But all this talk of homosexuality is beside the point. Even heterosexuals aren't safe. For instance, you wouldn't want to stick your great big cock into a nice wet cunt.

PS. British swearwords are generally the same as American ones... only we use "bugger" "bloody" and "arse" a lot more than we should. And the "swearing rules" ambiguity was intentional

Yeah, in AUstralia we say "bloody" and "bugger" a lot too - and "arse" I guess...
But we also have the same as the Americans.
