Apparently, we may be a stone's throw away from hearing about a Gamecube edition of that lovely GBA RPG series, Golden Sun. Now we can finally see endless text boxes in full 3D! I'm kidding of course, it's great. Do you think this will really happen? Are you looking forward to it? What do you think it's going to be about? Chat about it here.

I'm undecided.... Camelot's 3D games seem to be limited to Mario sports. While they make a mighty fine RPG for GBA, the transition to GCN may be more then they can handle.
This also applies to Inteligent Systems and Fire Emblem 8.

Intelligent Systems have had years to experiment with 3D now, and get over their fear of it. Their only ventures have been with the Paper Mario games, but I think they're ready to make Fire Emblem awesome Camelot seem capable with 3D, but we'll just have to wait and see

Camelot did a very good job with Shining Force III for the Saturn, so I don't see why they wouldn't be capable of doing a 3D console rpg well.

might not be in 3D, camelot also did shining wisdom (under the name "sonic software planning") which i thought was cool. i'd be happy to play a stunning looking 2 dimensional rpg, but the kids these days want 3D *grumble grumble*

Golden Sun was oroginaly a Nintendo 64 game, but it was moved to the GBA so I don't think they have a propblem with 3D...do they?

As did I when I first read the newspiece. Of course I jumped a bit higher for Gamecube Fire Emblem... and it took a rescue team three weeks to fetch me down from the roof after I first spotted the realistic Zelda footage on the E3 website.
But Nintendo must be doing something right to have so many excitable fans jumping at the very mention of so many games.

All these RPGs... If any of them is half as good as ToS, I'll buy multiple copies.

My sister would be the one who likes Golden Sun, she has both games for GBA and is a bit of an expert on the subject.
The RPG I'm looking forward to most at the moment (apart from any/every Zelda game) would have to be Tales of Symphonia!
