I think it deletes the original forum (making people cannot login) and replace it with the new one. This is actually a really good service, especially since ProBoards is FREE OF CHARGE! |

I liked the old layout better, but yes... it came as a surprise to me as well... However, requiring everyone to reactivate their accounts will become annoying. I just hope my most regular readers will be bothered.

My username has no capitals  On a semi-related note, I'm sure its a dumb question, but how do you change your passowrd? Having to log in again made me realise mine sucks. |

Go up to profile and click, enter your current password, then enter your new password in the two boxes. At least I assume it still works that way.

Something is wrong with the smileys - when I click on one, it copies the entire message preceeding the smiley and pastes it directly after, so that I have to delete it.
That's a bit not so good.
Layout different too - need to get used to it...

Yeah I noticed that today when I logged in, I thought my account was deleted or something 'cause I didn't log in in a long time or something.

Yeah, it's just upgrades, amazing they got done, it took Patrick Clinger forever to do them, because he played sick.
But I like Proboards Version 4.

I like my browser - Safari - the ultra-fast Mac OSX internet browser.
It's very fast (by my experience anyway), but not 100% compatible with all sites for some reason).
Regardless, it is but a small inconvenience, the smiley thing, so I can easily ignore it.

I use Safari at work (where I am now), and it was using that that spurred me to change the site's layout. I fixed a lot of little niggly problems that I missed first time round - and made it look shinier to boot! |
