What would you vote as your favourite glitch you've ever experienced in a Nintendo game?

The entire first stage of Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire on N64. That game was made to be broken.
I like the way you can break through the invisible walls just so long as you keep pushing in the right direction (like syrup-walls) and when you do the world goes crazy!
Ah, SOTE, how I miss thee!

I don't know if these count as glitches, but the level warps in Mario 64 were pretty cool, and useful too!

I like the Mr. Game & Watch bucket glitch for Smash Brothers Melee. The glitches ("glitches"?) used for sequence breaking in Prime are pretty cool, too.

I don't know if these count as glitches, but the level warps in Mario 64 were pretty cool, and useful too! Those are legitimate shortcuts added by the developer, and so don't count as glitches.

Ahhh...now I remember! Shadows of the Empire was a great game for glitches. Like all them times I could get 'Dash Rendar' to slowly move without touching the controller...great times...

I think you could really mess it up by putting in the codes that change you into other ships/characters.
Other glitches I'm fond of:
LoZ: Ocarina of Time I went out of my way to look for glitches in this game. I like all the things that happen if you play about with Hyrule Castle Town's gate.
Super Mario 64 Took me a long time to pass through the wall and fall through behind the castle's door, but I did it. I also quite like the one where you walk to the back-right side of the castle roof, hang off the side, climb up and inexplicably lose a life.
Super Mario World No... actually I hate Super Mario World's glitches. It's all very amusing falling through floors while spin jumping... but not on my first runthrough the game... that's just mean!

Apparently it is... though it's not in SMB Deluxe. I think some of the NES Classics are direct ports, while others have been changed slightly. SMB has been left intact.

Well, this is not a glitch I experienced myself, but it is really cool! Someone managed to beat Super Mario 64 with only 16 stars!! You can view a video of it on www.systemcrash.tk. It's a really cool site, with lots of glitches for all kinds of games, and it even has some pretty rare beta screenshots of Super Mario 64!

Rainbow Road on Mario Kart 64 has a glitch. Just before you approach the big steep hill, if you go into the wall and press L you could jump off the course and if your lucky enouth, you could land on the lower part of the course.

That wasn't a glitch, it was an unplanned shortcut. A low wall to jump over with ground lower down wasn't a programming error, but a design error.
The Frappe Snowland shortcut is a glitch because you confuse the game's programming into thinking you've advanced a lap when you haven't.

I was a victim of the manhole glitch in Super Mario Sunshine numerous times. But my favorite induced glitch was the following: if you use the Pokémon Red/Blue catch GameShark codes on the Yellow version, instead of the requested Pokémon species appearing in the wild, your Pokémon should be temporally transformed into it, but only in apperance from the back, keeping the same name, cry, colour, and not getting you any new Pokédex information! My Blastoise turned into a blue Mew! It was a fun thing to do, untill my grandmother's dog ate my GameShark. Beagles are dumb.

Ah, the original Pokémon's Cinnabar Island Surf trick... allowing you to catch Safari Zone Pokémon like normal Pokémon.
I wish they'd left it in for FireRed and LeafGreen... Tauros keeps getting away from me!

I loved that Cinnibar trick... I gave my missingno tons of love <3
I know, you're gonna say "NO, THAT'S NOT A GLITCH *hiss* DIE" but I love how you can jump over the wall in the beginning of Wario Stadium in Mario Kart 64 <3
