An Ode To Pikmin - By Dan Whiteman
Come forth, my legions. Today is your destiny. Rise from the ground and taste victory. We go into these lands that are ripe for conquest. We will pillage and plunder all in our path.
Go forth, my legions. Consume and multiply. Attack and devour them with your fierce numbers. The roting dead will nurish your propagation. Your numbers will grow as they will fall before you.
Go forth, my legions, for you are many. You have slain both creatures of the sky, And overcame the beasts of the ground. The forest now trembles before your path.
To war, my legions. To war.

I don't really know if "beautiful" is the right word to use here. Hmm... Oooh, I know! That was as disturbing as the final scene in Pikmin when Olimar leaves and the Pikmin savagely attack the Grubtub (I think that's what they're called... ) There, a Pikmin compliment if ever there was one

Now Pikmin - there's a fun yet odd game...
I'm just thinking what I should complement my Mario Bros. collection with - Zelda (but I only like the 3D ones now), Metroid, or Pikmin...
And what about DK and Wario... too many good games, and not enough money...
I think I'll stick to Mario Bros. - but Pikmin is good...

Grubtub = Those mushrooms Prince Tricky eats in Starfox Adventures
Bulborb = That enemy the Pikmin start attacking after Olimar takes off

Sorry for a double-post-like post, but today I went to Best Buy and played the Pikmin 2 demo they had.
It was greatness. I played one of the 5 challenge courses. It started in this very small underground room, and with me were 50 red Pikmin, and at my disposal were those two special sprays, and I could each one of them twice.
Anyway, I started controlling the Pikmin to grab the huge coins on the floor (Well, not huge, they were probably actually Yen Coins or localized American cents), and in came the Pokos. After about 4 coins, I found the key to the next level of the course. To my surprise, only one Pikmin was needed to carry that huge key.
Anyway, after getting to the final floor of the level, a good number of Dwarf Bulborbs were there, and one regular Adult sized Bulborb (Remember, not Grubtub, Bulborb). I thought it was a great time to try out that Spicy Spray, so I let it rip and the Pikmin were faster and stronger. Due to my exictedness, my finger slipped off the C-Stick and the Bulborb pigged out on about 8 of my Pikmin. It didn't matter much to me, I finished up and killed the Adult and some of the dwarves, before I had to sadly leave the booth because my father got what he was looking for and had to go to the register to pay for the items.
I'm so happy that the game only comes out in 1 more day (Here, at least, sorry, my European friends).

Aww, you're so lucky... I wanna play that game too! So, did you see the Nazo no Murasame Jou disk while playing that demo?
